Last night Turnbull said, as he was filmed walking around Suncorp Stadium, "the highlight of my career was playing for Australia and the Socceroos and also the Sydney Olympic Games in 2000."
That claim raised a few eyebrows.
This is what appears on Michael Turnbull's LinkedIn account:
We're not sure what the 'EUFA Cup' is, but UEFA records do indicate that Turnbull was an unused substitute in five UEFA Cup matches in the 2004-2005 season with Standard Liege.

As for AS Roma in 2003, the Italian side had five registered 'keepers for the 2002-2003 season and four registered for the 2003-2004 season - none of which were Michael Turnbull.
There is no record of Turnbull playing for Australia's full national team, the Socceroos, however he did play for the Young Socceroos.
FIFA records indicate he was in the squad at the Sydney 2000 Olympics, but was an unused substitute in all matches.
The World Game has attempted to contact Michael Turnbull for his reaction.
