The 25-year old Tasmanian heads to Perth after spending the past season with Sun Pegasus in the Hong Kong Premier League.
The 1.89 metre tall custodian made his A-league debut in 2010 with Gold Coast United, where he played between 2009 and 2012.
Prior to his east-Asian stint, Tyson spent two years with Western Sydney Wanderers, filling in for regular keeper Ante Covic.
"I'm very happy to have made the jump across to WA. Glory is a great club with lots of talent and excellent coaching staff, so I'm looking forward to the next challenge ahead," he said.
"Regular game time will be my focus but that's down to me and impressing the coaches at training."
Coach Kenny Lowe said Tyson was a good fit for the club.
"Jerrad's been playing at a competitive level for some time now," he said.
"He's got the pedigree and massive potential to break out and be a number one goalkeeper.
"He has played at some of the best clubs in the A-League so he's going to be a very important player for us."
Tyson will join the Glory squad next week as the team begins its pre-season campaign.
Last season's regular goalkeeper Danny Vukovic has left the club for Melbourne Victory.
