Zusi double sends Kansas into play-offs

Graham Zusi scored twice as Sporting Kansas City booked its place in the the Major League Soccer play-offs with a 2-0 win over the Chicago Fire.

Zusi's first-tine strike put Sporting ahead in the 11th minute and, moments after Chicago's Gonzalo Segares had received a second yellow card in second-half stoppage time, made the points safe with a solo effort.

The win, Sporting's first at home against Chicago in five years, puts KC five points ahead of its opponents at the top of the Eastern Conference, though it has played a game more.
