Young Matildas coach Alistair Edwards has announced his squad for a three-day training camp in Canberra from June 10 as part of their preparations for the 2006 FIFA U-20 Womenââ‚¬â„¢s World Championship to be played in Russia in August.
Amy Chapman joins the squad following successful recovery from a knee reconstruction - as a result of an injury that occurred during last years Women's National Football Championships.
Victorian Meghan Archer has also gained selection after impressing coach Edwards during a recent training game in Melbourne.
Matildas player Collette McCallum was unavailable for selection due to recent knee surgery.
It will be a busy month for Young Matildas captain Sally Shipard along with her team-mates Lydia Williams, Clare Polkinghorne and Kylie Ledbrook - all will later join the senior women's team for an 8-day tour of China from Tuesday 13th June.
'This training camp is an important part of our preparation for the World Championships," said Edwards.
'Our build up to the tournament is progressing well, with the monthly camps allowing me to experiment with different formations and tactical situations that we are likely to encounter playing against opposition of varying styles."
'We are looking to up the intensity to ensure that the players are physically and mentally prepared for the tough tournament ahead."
