A-League newcomers Western United believe they have signed three of Australia's most promising youngsters.
Sebastian Pasquali, Apostolos Stamatelopoulos and Dylan Pierias have all agreed to join the fledgling club when it joins the A-League next season.
As reported by The World Game, Pasquali, a highly-rated 19-year-old midfielder, will join the A-League newcomers from Dutch club Ajax.
Stamatelopoulos (Adelaide United) and Pierias (Melbourne City) will leave their current A-League clubs at the end of the current season before linking up with the Western Melbourne based club,
Western United now have seven players on their books with the trio joining marquee Panagiotis Kone, Socceroos defender Josh Risdon, Sydney FC stopper Aaron Calver and Connor Chapman who returns after a stint with K-League side Pohang Steelers.
“We are delighted to have captured three of Australian football’s brightest talents,” United assistant coach John Hutchinson said.
“John [Anastasiadis] and I have been united in our assessment of Seb, Stama and Dylan.
“In Seb’s case, already being part of European football’s greatest school in Ajax, we are excited to have Seb bringing his learnings and to push through to playing first team football and continuing his rise,
“Stama [Stamatelopoulos] is a very exciting forward who has already tasted A-League football so we believe he will develop into a mainstay of our attacking third for many seasons to come.
“And in Dylan, we see a player who can slot into anywhere on right side of the pitch so versatility is a trait we want in all our players”.
