As first reported by The World Game, Arzani will officially become a Manchester City player this weekend, before heading to Glasgow early next week to begin a two-season loan with Scottish giants Celtic.

When asked about the imminent move following Celtic's 3-1 victory over Livingston, Rogic heaped praise on his Socceroos teammate.
"He is a good kid, he's a talent. As an attacking player he'll excite the fans and I know the club is certainly working hard to get him here," Rogic said.

"Hopefully (it happens), it will be nice to have another Australian.

"He's got bags of potential. It will be a great learning experience (for Arzani) if we can get him here.

"He's going to come from playing in the A-League where you have 27 games, to here where we play 60+ games a season, fighting in four competitions and playing in front of 60,000 every week."

Rogic was then asked whether the style of Scottish football would suit the talented winger.

"I think when you're a good player you suit all styles. Daniel is a bright talent. He's only young, so he'll need a bit of time but his future is bright."

The former Central Coast Mariners playmaker confirmed he'd be more than happy to take Arzani under his wing in Glasgow.

"By all means. He's a good kid, he just needs a bit of time. You saw at the World Cup he was a bright spark for Australia. And Australia needs more young players playing for big clubs in Europe. It's a good step for him and it's good for Australia."

Rogic also confirmed that he had spoken to Arzani about the probable move.

"Yeah he has given me a call, asking me about the club (Celtic) and what I think. I said, 'I've just signed a five-year contract', so that speaks for itself."
