The criteria was players must have played for at least four teams to qualify. Over the course of 11 A-League seasons it's a pretty mean feat with numerous members of the selection having spent time at now defunct clubs.
So apologies to the likes of Melbourne Victory vice-captain Leigh Broxham and retired Central Coast Mariners captain John Hutchinson who didn't stand a chance, having played their entire A-League careers as one-club men - totalling 419 appearances.
