Former Socceroos midfielder Neil Kilkenny is set to make his Perth Glory debut this Sunday after signing with the A-League club for the rest of the season.
Kilkenny left Melbourne City earlier this week citing the need for more game time, and he will bolster an injury-hit Glory squad that have lost five games on the trot.
The 32-year-old's arrival follows that of defender Dino Djulbic, who rejoined Glory earlier this week.
"We have a strong squad here and I'm looking forward to doing my bit to help drive us into the finals," Kilkenny said.
"That's the aim and I'm confident that we can achieve it."
Glory sit in ninth spot on the ladder - three points adrift of the sixth-placed Western Sydney Wanderers.
The two teams will lock horns in Perth this weekend in a match crucial to both sides' finals hopes.
Kilkenny, who has represented Australia 14 times, had spent almost his entire career in England.
After coming through the youth ranks at Arsenal, he played for Oldham Athletic (loan), Birmingham City, Leeds United, Bristol City, and Preston North End.
He made almost 350 first-team appearances in British football before joining Melbourne City in 2016 and claiming their player of the year award.
However, he struggled for game time this season under new coach Warren Joyce, making just three appearances - all off the bench.
Glory are still without Adam Taggart (hamstring), Mitch Nichols (hamstring), Alex Grant (hamstring), and Andreu (calf), but Brandon Wilson returns from international duty.
