Perth Glory's hopes of winning next season's A-League title were given a boost when star import Diego Castro signed on for another season.

Castro had attracted strong interest from rival A-League clubs, and he was also considering his options overseas.

But the 34-year-old has decided to stay in Perth for an extra season.

Castro was unlucky not to win a second-straight Johnny Warren medal this season after netting 13 goals.

Along with Castro, Glory confirmed the re-signings of Reddy, his understudy Nick Feely, and midfielder Joel Chianese.

But defender Dino Djulbic has been told he won't earn a new deal, while Socceroos utility Rhys Williams is set to join Melbourne Victory after his friction-filled season in Perth.

Richard Garcia (retired), Nebojsa Marinkovic (released), Mitch Oxborrow (released), Kosta Petratos (Newcastle), Josh Risdon (Wanderers), and Aryn Williams (released) are other departures from Glory.

Perth finished the regular season in fifth spot, and made their way through to the semi-finals with an upset elimination final win over Melbourne City.

But their run was halted by Sydney FC in the semi-finals, with the Sky Blues crushing Perth 3-0 before beating Melbourne Victory via a penalty shootout in the decider.
