Perth Glory has signed ex-Sydney FC left-back Marc Warren on a one-year deal as the club looks to bolster its squad ahead of the new A-League season.
The one-time Sheffield United defender officially linked up with Perth after a three-week trial.
Warren is excited by the prospect of turning out for Glory.
"I'm grateful to get another chance to play football on the biggest stage in Australia, especially considering the proud history of the club," he said.
"I’ll be doing whatever I can to help bring success to Glory because the fans and the people at the club deserve it."
Glory coach Kenny Lowe believes that Warren’s time at clubs in the UK and Australia was a major factor in deciding to sign the 23 year-old.
"He’s very experienced for someone of such a young age. He’s played in the UK, played in Scotland and he’s played in the A-League. He’s hungry; he’s shown that he’s got good qualities. Hopefully he kicks on and fulfils his potential."
