A 19th-minute Nelson Oliveira goal gave Portugal a 1-0 victory over Cameroon and top spot in Group B at the FIFA U-20 World Cup.
Portugal moved two points clear of New Zealand and Uruguay, and three clear of Cameroon, with one group game left to play.
Oliveira went close with a header before opening the scoring, lobbing Cameroon goalkeeper Jean Efala.
Oliveira fired wide on 30 minutes and 10 minutes later Pele squandered a decent chance to double the lead.
Goalscorer Oliveira again came close in the second half, with Cameroon's best effort being Yazid Atouba's long-range effort, but it was game over for Cameroon when Ghislain Mvom was sent off with 19 minutes remaining.
