The Central Coast Mariners have announced that defender Andrew Clark and striker Stewart Petrie have signed contract extensions with the club.
The experienced duo will again be key components in a Mariners side which reached the A-League Grand Final last season, and the club's football manager Lawrie McKinna said he expects the pair to again lead from the front.
"Both Andrew and Stewart were key members in 2005/06 and they certainly showed enough to suggest that they can improve upon their performances from last season and achieve even more in 2006/07," he said.
"Between them, they've played in top leagues in Scotland, Singapore, Malaysia and now the Hyundai A-League and they provide us with invaluable experience at the front and back for the upcoming season."
Petrie, 36, netted eight times last season while 31-year-old Clark is also the club's strength and conditioning coach.
The Mariners take on NSW Division 1 side Gladesville Spirit at Christie Park on Wednesday. Kick off is at 7.30pm.
