Deloitte Sports Business Group have released figures saying the value of promotion to the English Premier League for next season would be worth £170 million ($297 million AUD).

Huddersfield remain tantalisingly close to the golden goose that is a Premier League berth - only three matches remain for their season to be a fantastic success.
Championship winners Newcastle United and second-placed finishers Brighton and Hove Albion have already secured promotion to the Premier League by claiming the top two spots over the 46-game season.

Mooy’s Huddersfield, Sheffield Wednesday, Reading and Fulham are the four teams left battling for the final spot, with Huddersfield set to play against Sheffield Wednesday in the first leg of their semi-final on Sunday morning (AEST).
Mooy has already been named in both the Professional Footballers’ Association Championship Team of the Year and the English Football League Team of the Season.

So good has his form been has resulted in speculation he may play in the Premier League for Manchester City next season or even Huddersfield if the make the jump to the top flight.
The winners of the semi-finals will meet at Wembley Stadium on May 30 (AEST) in the play-off final to decide promotion.

That fixture will have an awful lot of money riding on it for both teams.
