Matildas coach Adrian Santrac has made five changes to his squad for next month's international tournament in France.
Goalkeeper Sue Read will make her debut while Amy Wilson, Bridgette Starr, Amy Taylor and Natalie Thomas have been recalled to Australia's national women's team.
Claire Nichols and Taryn Rockall are sidelined through knee injuries, while Traci Bartlett and Cheryl Salisbury are unavailable.
Also unavailable are Dianne Alagich and Alicia Ferguson who are recovering from knee reconstructions.
In January, the Aussies made it a clean sweep against South Korea to win the Australia Cup.
The 18-woman squad will assemble on March 17 at the Australian Institute of Sport for a training camp before jetting off for the tournament on March 29.
Australia will tackle host France, Japan and Canada in the four-tem tournament that kicks off on April 3.
Santrac was quoted as saying by AAP, "We have a depleted squad, especially defensively, but that has provided an opportunity for other players to be selected and further their development as international players.
"However we will approach this in the same way we approach any tournament, by treating the opposition with the respect they deserve but with the aim of attempting to win the tournament."
The full squad is: Sharon Black, Rhian Davies, Alison Forman, Heather Garriock, Kelly Golebiowski, Cassandra Kell, April Mann, Kate McShea, Zoe Nolan, Joanne Peters, Sue Read, Bridgette Starr, Anissa Tann, Amy Taylor, Natalie Thomas, Gill Thomson, Sacha Wainwright, Amy Wilson.
Standby players: Pam Grant, Peita-Claire Hepperlin, Olivia Hohnke, Tal Karp.
