United's Premier League unbeaten run is stretched to 11 thanks to a 2-0 win at the London Stadium. There was more than a hint of fortune to it, as Feghouli's early red card and Ibrahimovic's goal were the centre of major controversies, but Mourinho and his side won't care, as they march on and close

Referee Mike Dean brings things to a close, with the score goalless at the break. It hasn't been a great game in truth, with the early red card having a big impact. West Ham have actually responded well and looked rather good, but United have generally been poor. Expect changes from the visitors at

It may not have been pretty the whole time, but United go into today's match on the back of a 10-match unbeaten run. That's their best such run since an 18-match streak without defeat ended in April 2013.
    • 0'
That win over Middlesbrough was by no means straightforward, but it was won in a manner that Sir Alex Ferguson would've been proud of, as Martial and Paul Pogba both scored in the final five minutes to secure a fifth successive league win for Jose Mourinho's men. Have United turned a corner of late?

United secured a last-gasp 2-1 win over Middlesbrough on Saturday, and five of those involved from the start then miss out at the London Stadium. Three of those alterations come at the back, as Eric Bailly, Daley Blind and Chris Smalling - the only one of that trio on the bench - missing out. Phil J

Although the festive period is generally regarded as the toughest part of any Premier League season with the matches coming thick and fast, West Ham actually enjoyed something of a resurgence in that time. The loss to Leicester ended a run of four matches unbeaten and three successive victories. Get

Slaven Bilic makes three changes from the team which lost 1-0 at Leicester City last time out. Dropping out of the team today are Mark Noble, Andre Ayew and Andy Carroll, who all take places on the bench. Coming in for them are Pedro Obiang, Manuel Lanzini and Sofiane Feghouli, with the latter makin

Hello and welcome to the LIVE coverage of the Premier League meeting between West Ham United and Manchester United. I will be describing the action for you today, as these two sides go head-to-head at the London Stadium in their first respective outings of 2017.
    • 1'
Off we go! West Ham get things started in London.
    • 3'
The visitors are the ones seeing more of the early ball, stroking it around and putting West Ham under a little pressure, but so far the play is mostly being restricted to midfield.
    • 5'
West Ham now enjoy a prolonged period in possession and eventually the ball breaks kindly for Payet in midfield, but his 30-yard effort is dragged harmlessly wide of the left-hand post.
    • 7'
Mkhitaryan is robbed deep into his own half by Antonio, who cleverly turns and tries to feed Payet into space on the edge of the box, but his pass is poor and Rojo quickly latches on to it.
    • 9'
Good football from the hosts. Feghouli and Antonio link up well on the right, playing two one-twos and eventually the Algerian bursts inside. He passes short to Payet, who skips past one tackle and then seens another scuffed effort cause United no bother.
    • 10'
CLOSE! Uinted are caught on the break and West Ham work it well. Payet gets into the final third and lures two men towards him, before squaring to his left and finding Lanzini, who sees a fine effort just tipped wide by De Gea.
    • 11'
The corner doesn't come to much, though, as Jones heads it clear and then Carricks hacks it away after the ball was stabbed back into the box.
    • 13'
United enjoy another strong spell in charge of possession, but West Ham are doing a good job of making themselves compact, with both Lanzini and Feghouli dropping deep when West Ham are defending.
    • 15'
RED CARD! Feghouli has a heavy touch and goes sliding in in an attempt to get the ball, but he collides with Jones. The England defender appears to be hurt, but replays show there was very little in it, yet that doesn't stop referee Mike Dean showing the Algerian a straight red.
    • 17'
United already look boosted by the numerical advantage, as they knock the ball around with confidence in the final third - Ibrahimovic and Mkhitaryan central to the passing move. Eventually the ball breaks clear and Antonio heads up the right flank before being taken out by Lingard. Free-kick to Wes
    • 19'
Good goalkeeping by Randolph, as he gets up high and pushes Herrera's left-wing cross away. It is swiftly worked back to the left flank by United and the Spaniard delivers again and the West Ham keeper plucks it from the air.
    • 21'
It's all Man United now. West Ham are being kept penned in to their defensive third and struggling to string even a few passes together.
    • 23'
West Ham enjoy a rare venture in the United half, as Obiang sends a lofted pass to the left for Cresswell. Valencia gets it but heads the ball straight to his opposing full-back, though he concedes possession immediately.
    • 25'
STAT: Since Feghouli's red card, United have enjoyed 71% of the possession.
    • 27'
Valencia does well, as he tackles Cresswell just after he'd intercepted Pogba's poor pass. United are straight on the front foot again and probe West Ham, but the Ecuadorian's eventual cross isn't great and gets cleared easily.
    • 29'
More jeers from the West Ham crowd now, as Payet is shown a yellow card. The Frenchman must have said something to the referee.
    • 30'
For all their possession and the numerical advantage they have, United haven't actually done a huge much amount since Feghouli's dismissal. They still haven't managed a shot.
    • 32'
That's a bit of a waste from West Ham, as Payet stands over a free-kick 40 yards from the United goal and he opts to play it backwards. Eventually Obiang simply smashes it towards the area and it is easily cleared away.
    • 34'
Another West Ham shot, but it causes De Gea no problems as Nordtveit's attempt from out on the right wing is blazed well over.
    • 36'
WEST HAM SURVIVE! How has that stayed out? Ibrahimovic's ball across the face of goal is met by Mkhitaryan, who squares it back into the centre. Valencia smashes it straight at Randolph from point-blank range and then Lingard hits the post. An amazing escape for the hosts.
    • 38'
CLOSE! Ibrahimovic now latches on to a pass played over the West Ham defence and he has only Randolph to beat from a tight angle, but the Swede slices the bouncing ball well over. Another big chance for United.
    • 41'
More prolonged United pressure, as they knock the ball around in the final third. Eventually Ibrahimovic prods the ball in behind Nordtveit for Darmian, but the Italian strays offside.
    • 42'
Mkhitaryan's pass to Darmian goes astray and the full-back barges into Antonio to send him tumbling and the yellow card is brandished.
    • 44'
Good effort! Lanzini receives the ball on the edge of the box and manages to make space for himself, before sending a lovely attempt towards goal, only to see it pushed around the post brilliantly by De Gea.
    • 45'
The corner is wasted as the referee spots some pushing and gives United a free-kick. In the meantime Fellaini, Martial and Mata can all be seen heading out to warm up. Mourinho clearly isn't impressed with what he has seen so far.
    • 46'
      SI Mata SO M. Darmian
    • 46'
Off we go for the second half, and there was one change at the break, as Mata replaces Darmian for United. An attacking change for the visitors.
    • 47'
That United change should mean Carrick drops back to centre-back, while Rojo heads to the left and Mata will slot in behind Ibrahimovic.
    • 49'
Mata's first involvement sees him released up the left flank. He digs a cross out, which is flicked on by Reid to Valencia in the right side of the box. He sends another delivery in and that is cleared too. Lingard then sends 25-yard effort well over.
    • 51'
Mkhitaryan charges forward after a pass bounces off the referee and lands kindly for the Armenian. Kouyate comes across and produces a shocking challenge, as he flies over the ball and takes the winger down, but he somehow escapes a booking. The free-kick doesn't come to anything, though.
    • 52'
West Ham have themselves a free-kick now just to the right of the United penalty area. Payet stands over it. This is a good chance.
    • 53'
CLOSE! Payet's free-kick delivery is a good one and Antonio manages to get above Rojo, meeting the ball with a header. He just doesn't get enough on it, as he nods it wide.
    • 55'
A decent move from the visitors now, as Rojo is played up the left flank and he crosses. It drops for Valencia, who squares inside to Mkhitaryan and he then finds Ibrahimovic in the area. The Swede can't do much with it, though, and has to go back. The attack peters out.
    • 57'
Almost an opening for United, as Mata fed a through-ball into the area for Ibrahimovic, but Nordtveit covers well and shepherds it back to Randolph.
    • 58'
SI M. Rashford SO M. Darmian
    • 58'
Second United change now, as Lingard is brought off for Rashford.
    • 59'
Rashford is involved straight away, as he latches on to a pass up the left flank and his pace sees him beat Nordtveit. He links with Mata twice, but United are eventually crowded out.
    • 61'
UNITED SURVIVE! Poor from Rojo, as the Argentinian gives the ball away in the visitors' half. Lanzini pounces and he feeds Antonio into the penalty area, but De Gea makes a big save from the forward. The West Ham man should have done better there.
    • 63'
      G Mata Assist M. Darmian
    • 63'
Brilliant from Rashford, as he darts past his marker and leaves him in knots, before then providing the perfect cut-back.
    • 63'
GOAL!!! UNITED HAVE THE LEAD! A great goal for the visitors, as the two substitutes combine! Rashford takes the ball up on the left and breezes past Nordtveit, before turning back on himself and cutting back towards the penalty spot for Mata, who applies a cool finish.
    • 65'
SI C. Smalling SO M. Darmian
    • 65'
Final United change now, as Smalling comes on for Mkhitaryan, who has been a bit ineffective today. Carrick surely back into midfield now.
    • 67'
Mourinho has to be praised for his managing of this match. Clearly unimpressed at the break, he introduced Mata, shifted Carrick into defence and then brought on Rashford - all three had a role in that goal.
    • 68'
Just wide! Pogba finds space just outside the West Ham area and he steers a left-footed effort just wide of the bottom-left corner.
    • 69'
SI A. Carroll SO M. Darmian
    • 69'
Bilic makes a move now. Payet heads off after a pretty poor display and Andy Carroll makes his way on.
    • 71'
Lanzini clips a West Ham free-kick into the United area now, but the visitors deal with it relatively easily, with Carrick heading it away.
    • 73'
Lanzini is having more of an impact in the second half. This time he picks up possession in the left side of the area and he feeds the overlapping Cresswell with a reverse pass, but the left-back slips over at the crucial moment.
    • 74'
CLOSE! Rashford is causing real problems at the moment. He again runs at Nordtveit, this time passing to Pogba on the edge of the box and his controlled effort goes agonisingly wide of the right-hand post.
    • 75'
Clumsy from Valencia, as he goes up to meet an aerial ball and ultimately clatters into Lanzini. Yellow card.
    • 77'
West Ham get lucky! United catch their hosts on the break, with Ibrahimovic doing really well. He holds the ball up an then feeds Rashford in the inside-right channel. The 19-year-old gets a shot away from 20 yards and it squirms through Randolph's arms, hitting the post and then the goalkeeper poun
    • 78'
      G Z. Ibrahimović Assist M. Darmian
    • 78'
Great pressing from the Spaniard, but he didn't know much about that assist, as the ball struck him and bounced through for Ibrahimovic, who was actually offside.
    • 78'
GOAL!!! UNITED HAVE A SECOND! Obiang's pass out from the back hits Herrera and bounces through for Ibrahimovic, who sends an emphatic strike past Randolph.
    • 80'
West Ham are back on the front foot, but Valencia does well against Lanzini and then Cresswell's cross is headed away by Jones.
    • 82'
SI E. Fernandes SO M. Darmian
    • 82'
West Ham change now, as Kouyate heads off and is replaced by Fernandes. An attacking switch there.
    • 84'
Almost a third! Rashford is excellent again on the left, digging a cross out and Herrera arrives at the back post, sending a volley towards goal which is pushed wide by Randolph.
    • 86'
Although Mourinho deserves a lot of praise for his changes, United will be very aware that things have really gone their way today. Feghouli shouldn't have been sent off and Ibrahimovic was offside for his goal.
    • 88'
Free-kick to United just outside the box now, as Reid handles the ball just outside the area. I'm not sure how he's not been booked for that - looked as deliberate as they come.
    • 89'
SI A. Ayew SO M. Darmian
    • 89'
After a bit of a delay, the free-kick is taken by Ibrahimovic and he smashes it into the wall. West Ham then make another switch soon after, with Ayew coming on for Lanzini.
    • 90'
It's been a miserable second half for Nordtveit. That is now compounded by a cynical foul on Rashford, who has terrorised him.
