    • KICK OFF
    • 45'
MAGNIFICENT MOVE! Phillips makes a fool of Davies with a mazy dribble that skins the defender, but he undoes all his hard work with a low cross right into the arms of the goalkeeper.
    • 90'
Nyom, who has impressed off the bench after an abject game against Southampton, tries to bulldoze his way down the left-hand side, but the referee pulls him back. That may just be that.
    • 0'
And that will do it from the Hawthorns as West Brom come back from a goal down to dispatch Hull 3-1. The Tigers continue to stare relegation in the face, while the Baggies are right in the thick of the battle for the final Europa League place. That's all from us, thanks for tuning in!
    • 0'
Robert Snodgrass' seventh Premier League goal, and Hull's first away goal in nearly eight hours of football, has given the Tigers the advantage here at the Hawthorns. The visitors have been the better side, although Marshall has been called into action a few times. Stay tuned for the restart soon.
    • 0'
Mike Phelan makes two changes to his side, with Sam Clucas and Tom Huddlestone drafted into the XI at the expense of Andrew Robertson and David Meyler. Ahmed Elmohamady and Dieumerci Mbokani play their last game before heading off to the Africa Cup of Nations.
    • 0'
Allan Nyom drops out of the West Brom XI after a below-par display against Southampton, while Hal Robson-Kanu's winner at St. Mary's isn't enough to earn him a start. Salomon Rondon leads the line for the home side in a 4-2-3-1 setup.

Hull subs: Robertson, Meyler, Maloney, Jakupovic, Weir, Henriksen, Mason.

West Brom subs: Nyom, Olsson, Robson-Kanu, Gardner, Myhill, McClean, Galloway.

West Brom (4-2-3-1): Foster; Dawson, McAuley, Evans, Brunt; Fletcher, Yacob; Phillips, Morrison, Chadli; Rondon.
    • 0'
Hull have the worst goal difference in the top flight, thanks largely to a league-low 16 goals scored in 18 games. They've taken only four points on the road all season, and have not won in eight matches.
    • 0'
Tony Pulis' team, eighth in the standings, have won three of their last four games in the league, including a 2-1 victory against Southampton to finish 2016 on a high note. All seven of their W's this season have come against sides below them in the table.
    • 0'
Hello and welcome to our live commentary of the Premier League match between West Brom and Hull at the Hawthorns. It's the 400th EPL game for the hosts, and they'll fancy their chances against a side second from bottom in the table.
    • 1'
      Off we go!
    • 3'
Chris Brunt, back at left-back today, sends in a delivery that is allowed to swerve behind for a goal-kick by David Marshall. West Brom have started the better side here, although Hull have already won two corners.
    • 5'
Disappointing corner from Hull, as Robert Snodgrass sends the ball over the head of everyone in the box. You'd expect better from him - he's either scored or created half of his side's goals in the league this season.
    • 7'
DIomande gets a long ball in a good position on the right-hand side, and has his marker Brunt backing down. He shifts the ball onto his right boot, but blasts it wide to a quizzical glance from his teammates.
    • 9'
Diomande is working the channels well, and his pressure on the ball sees McAuley take no chances, with the 37-year-old putting the ball out for a throw-in. The visitors are starting to grow into the game.
    • 11'
Neither goalkeeper has been seriously tested as yet, as West Brom work their first spell of sustained pressure, although a loose ball from Craig Dawson is picked off by Huddlestone.
    • 14'
Hull are now seeing a lot of the ball, but West Brom are proving a tough nut to crack. No surprise to see Snodgrass take the initiative and drive though the centre, winning a free-kick in shooting range.
    • 16'
FINE EFFORT! Snodgrass bends the ball towards goal with his left boot, but Foster is equal to it, although his parry presents the ball to Diomande, who could not convert the rebound under pressure.
    • 18'
West Brom are conceding too much possession in their own half, as Huddlestone finds space beyond Claudio Yacob to take aim from 20 yards, but his effort skims into the arms of the keeper.
    • 20'
Elmohamady sends in a dangerous ball that almost falls for Snodgrass, but a defensive header finds him scrambling for it with Chadli near the byline instead. Hull have to settle for a corner.
    • 21'
G R. Snodgrass Assist Ahmed El Mohamady
    • 21'
Good poise to send in the cross on the bounce.
    • 21'
IT'S HIM AGAIN! Where would Hull be without Snodgrass? Elmohamady collects a lovely crossfield ball and hooks a cross into the danger area, where the playmaker gets ahead of Yacob to convert!
    • 21'
SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE OPENER! The corner comes in and gets a slight glance off the head of Davies, leaving the ball for Dawson to strike on the half-volley, but it sails wide of the markl!
    • 24'
Second time in three days that West Brom have gone behind in the first half. Against Southampton, they equalised pretty much right away, but their main concern at the moment is not letting in a second.
    • 26'
DANGER AGAIN FOR WEST BROM! Mboani holds the ball up well and spreads it wide to the overlapping Clucas, who advances and sends a fine ball across the face of goal that was begging to be tapped in.
    • 28'
Hull are oozing confidence right now, looking nothing like the team second from bottom in the table nor the one with the worst attacking record in the league. They will want a second to bookend their dominance.
    • 30'
SI A. Nyom SO Ahmed El Mohamady
    • 30'
Evans went down earlier with an injury and tried to soldier on, but it looks like his afternoon will be at an end. He is at least able to walk off the pitch himself, as Nyom comes on to replace him.
    • 33'
Looks like West Brom have gone to three at the back, matching Hull's formation. The tempo of the game has died down somewhat, with the hosts quelling the threat from the visitors somewhat.
    • 35'
Good play from the substitute Nyom, who strides down the left and sends in a cross. Rondon hangs in the air for a while, but pressure from Davies puts him off his finish, and he sends his header off the mark.
    • 37'
Rondon gets on the end of another cross, but this one isn't in as good of an area, and it forces him to control the ball with his chest, which takes him outside the area. Hull soon recover the ball.
    • 39'
Rondon loses out to Jake Livermore, who is away through the centre. He tees up Diomande inside the area, but the striker curls the ball off target. Once again, his teammates don't look happy with his decision.
    • 41'
GREAT CHANCE! After Marshall was forced into a save at one end of the pitch, Hull break, and Diomande is denied a finish by a great McAuley tackle. The visitors keep it alive, but Huddlestone's effort is parried by Foster.
    • 44'
WIDE OF THE MARK! Rondon gets the ball in a good position on the left side of the box and with Davies closing down, he lets fly hurriedly, sending the shot into the side netting. Not long to go now.
    • 46'
      Off we go again.
    • 49'
G C. Brunt Assist Ahmed El Mohamady
    • 49'
Phillips sent in the telling corner.
    • 49'
WEST BROM ARE LEVEL! From a corner, there's a scramble in the box. Maguire is blocked off, which allows Brunt to position himself at the back post to send a punishing header past the keeper!
    • 51'
Once again, Hull concede a goal from a set-piece. West Brom had improved towards the end of the first half, and they've carried that momentum forward here. I sense more goals in this one.
    • 53'
Hull are struggling to get going in the second half and Phelan looks concerned. By contrast, ever since Evans' injury and the shift to a back three, West Brom have been in the ascendancy.
    • 55'
West Brom haven't really pushed on since that goal, focusing instead on trying to work the perfect opportunity. Not much to speak about in the second half in truth, besides the goal from Brunt, of course.
    • 57'
The referee is forced to intervene more than once as some rough challenges see tempers flare somewhat. He's kept his cards in his pocket though, and has generally done a good job keeping a lid on things.
    • 59'
A Brunt cross is deflected onto the roof of the net. His deliveries have improved as the match has progressed. It looks like we're set for the first substitution of the match, with Robson-Kanu ready to come on.

    • 62'
Two corners from Phillips have led to two goal!
    • 62'
MCAULEY SCORES! Hull are undone by another corner. The defender gets his head to the delivery, and it appears to hit the hand of Clucas on the line! West Bron want a penalty, but they swallow those claims as the goal-line technology rules that the ball crossed over anyway.
    • 62'
Chadli departs for the forward, who scored against Southampton last time out.
    • 64'
Hull's soft centre has been brutally exposed by the home side here, who have all the momentum as they chase a third goal which would surely seal this game as a contest.
    • 65'
SI R. Mason SO Ahmed El Mohamady
    • 65'
Mbokani has been withdrawn for Ryan Mason.
    • 67'
Frustration is starting to seep into the Hull ranks as they appear far too hurried in the final third. West Brom have been dangerous on the breakaway this season, and will relish the chance to pick off the Tigers.
    • 69'
James Morrison gives Maguire the slip down the left-hand side, but after doing so well, he hits his cross into the first defender. Hull just need to be careful here with the space they're allowing at the back.
    • 71'
Hull don't seem to have the appetite to get forward as they did during their strongest spell in the first half, with a cross from Mason easily headed away by Dawson, who had no one near him to apply pressure.
    • 73'
G J. Morrison Assist Ahmed El Mohamady
    • 73'
THAT SHOULD SURELY BE THAT! Robson-Kanu turns Davies inside out down the right, and his low cross is touched by Rondon into the path of Morrison, who slices it into the bottom corner!
    • 76'
Hull appear to have given up the ghost here as West Brom climb all over them. It appears now to be a matter of how many the Baggies want from this game. The home fans are in fine voice.
    • 78'
Not a whole lot happening out on the pitch at the moment as West Brom look to have the three points in the bag. They can end the matchday as high as seventh if Everton fail to win.
    • 80'
Hull just give us a reminder that they're not dead and buried as yet. Snodgrass sends in a good corner that Davies gets his head to at the near post, but the keeper makes a fine save to preserve his side's advantage.
    • 82'
Huddlestone lets fly with a long-range effort that moves wide of the mark. Some good late pressure from the visitors that has West Brom concerned.
    • 84'
SI M. Henriksen SO Ahmed El Mohamady
    • 84'
Not a happy return to the Hawthorns for Davies, who departs for Henriksen.
    • 85'
A deflected cross is attacked by Diomande, but despite throwing himself at it, he can't find the target. It's been a hapless match in front of goal for the forward, who has made poor decisions throughout.
    • 87'
SI J. McClean SO Ahmed El Mohamady
    • 87'
Rondon is off and on comes McClean.
    • 88'
Hull have had a decent amount of possession in the closing stages but have not been able to make anything of it. Phelan will want to get his players in the dressing room quickly, probably to dress them down after this performance in the second half.
    • 90'
Only three wins all season for Hull, with two of those coming in the first two games. Barring a miracle here at the Hawthorns, they will now have only one run in their last 18 games - form which only points one way.
