Burnley have been battling well in the Premier League thus far and notched their second win of the campaign in their 2-0 victory over Watford on Monday. The Clarets won't make life easier for Arsenal, having defeated Liverpool at Turf Moor earlier in the term. Only Arsenal's best will suffice agains

    • 1'
      We're underway at Turf Moor.
    • 2'
CHANCE! Burnley fail to clear the danger in front of their box and Iwobi strikes the ball first time from 25 yards, but sends his effort well over the bar.
    • 4'
SHOT! Sanchez carves out space for a strike on the edge of the box and his effort takes a deflection and travels inches past the post. Heaton looked beaten there and the referee points for goal-kick rather than a corner, despite Arsenal's appeals.
    • 6'
Vokes gets into space through the middle and Hendrick finds his run, but as the Wales international pulls the trigger he sees the flag go up for offside.
    • 8'
Burnley are not sitting deep against the Gunners and seem quite comfortable on the ball in and around the back. Marney, Hendrick, Keane and Mee are seeing a lot of possession in the central areas thus far.
    • 9'
Boyd attempts to keep the ball in play down the flank, but he just loses out, allowing Cech to send it back downfield.
    • 11'
Mee almost makes a costly mistake at the back as he gives the ball away to Iwobi. The forward plays a reverse pass to Ozil on the edge of the box, but the German's shot is deflected into Heaton's hands.
    • 13'
Burnley are attempting to bring Vokes into the game with long balls into the box and the striker appears to be relishing the challenge against Koscielny and Mustafi.
    • 15'
Hendrick seizes on a mistake from Mustafi and sends a pass out wide to Boyd. The winger cuts in and drives towards the edge of the box, and although he has support, he tries to the shot, but sends his effort past the post. His team-mates don't appear too happy with that decision.
    • 17'
CHANCE! Walcott gets half a yard on Mee after collecting a low pass from Sanchez. The England man strikes across the face of goal, but his effort creeps just past the post. Another warning for the Clarets.
    • 18'
Mustafi drives forward from the back, but Walcott cannot bring his pass under control. However, Arsenal keep the attack alive and Sanchez's throughball for Cazorla almost finds the Spaniard, but Heaton is alert and off his line to smother ahead of the midfielder.
    • 21'
All hands on deck for Arsenal at the back as Keane tries to strike the ball, but the wall of yellow shirts produces the block. They're called into action again from the rebound as Hendrick tries his luck, but they clear and attempt to hit the Clarets on the break.
    • 22'
Iwobi leads the counter, but his pass for Sanchez is cut out by Mee, much to the frustration of the Chilean.
    • 24'
The Gunners press forward in numbers and Iwobi tries a lofted pass this time around to pick out Walcott's run to the near post, but his cross is well defended by Mee, who reads the danger.
    • 25'
Arsenal string several passes together before sending the ball out wide to Bellerin. He tries an incisive pass towards the middle for Sanchez, but the forward fails to control the ball, allowing Ward to send it clear.
    • 26'
Mustafi and Vokes enjoy a physical tussle in the corner, and the German edges the battle as he slides to dispossess the forward before the Wales international inadvertently knocks the ball out for a throw-in.
    • 28'
Arsenal almost pass their way through the Burnley defence as Iwobi and Ozil combine in the final third, but the Clarets get enough men back behind the ball to quell the attack.
    • 30'
Gudmundsson does well in the middle of the park to beat two challenges and send a low pass into Vokes' feet. The forward attempts a first-time pass to Boyd, but the two are not on the same page as it trickles through to Cech.
    • 32'
The contest has been pretty even thus far in the central areas. Arsenal have had the better of the opportunities, but they are yet to test Heaton with a meaningful effort.
    • 34'
Bellerin gest caught upfield and Boyd has a free runner in Ward to pick out on the left flank, but his throughball is too close to Mustafi, who quells the opening.
    • 36'
Defour attempts to send a curling cross to the near post for Vokes' run, but it's well cut out by Mustafi. The Clarets have to do a better job of bringing the forward into the game.
    • 37'
Walcott brings Arsenal forward at pace through the middle, but Burnley get men back to stop his run. Bellerin collects on the right and his cross is cleared only as far as Ozil on the edge, but the German makes a rare error losing control.
    • 38'
CHANCE! Vokes should put Burnley ahead as he latches on to Lowton's lofted cross and beats the offside trap. However, he heads his effort wide from 12 yards. A huge opportunity spurned for the home side.
    • 40'
Arsenal probe on the edge of the Burnley box, but once again a short pass from Sanchez into Walcott's feet is cut out by a Burnley defender, this time by Keane.
    • 42'
The Clarets have stifled Arsenal's passing game in the final third and even though it looks slick at times, the Gunners have lacked penetration inside the Burnley half.
    • 44'
Good defending once again from the home side to force a mistake from Ozil. The German has not been at his best in the first half.
    • 45'
There will be one minute of added time.
    • 46'
We're back underway at Turf Moor.
    • 47'
Arsenal start the second half like they began the first with a probe on the edge of the box, but Mee wins possession and clears the danger.
    • 48'
Lowton sends the ball in from the right and Vokes gets ahead of Koscielny at the near post, but he scuffs his effort wide. The ball needed a lot of work there anyway, but he failed to make a good connection.
    • 49'
CHANCE! Arsenal finally play their way through the Burnley rearguard and Sanchez fires at goal from 10 yards, but Heaton gets down well to save his strike and gather at the second attempt.
    • 51'
Defour and Hendrick link up in the midfield and the the Republic of Ireland man cracks an effort towards the target, but gets too much elevation, sending his strike over the bar.
    • 52'
Ozil is still not in a rhythm as he loses possession on the edge of the box when trying to find Monreal on the left flank.
    • 54'
Space opens up on the left for Iwobi as he collects Sanchez's pass. He cuts in from the right and shoots, but gets his strike terribly wrong, putting it out for a throw-in.
    • 56'
Burnley are continuing to hold the the Gunners at bay, but they're getting pushed deeper and deeper by the visitors.
    • 58'
CHANCE! Sanchez receives the ball in space in the box and has time to shoot, but he slides it back to Ozil. The German goes for placement, but Keane gets down to make the block with his legs, steering it away from goal.
    • 60'
SAVE! Ward cuts back on his right foot and lifts the ball towards the back post. Gudmundsson rises above Monreal in the area and heads towards the bottom corner, but Cech gets across to turn his effort past the post.
    • 61'
From the resulting corner there's a scramble in the box as the ball hits Hendrick, but it doesn't fall kindly for a Burnley player and the Gunners hack it away.
    • 62'
SI S. Arfield SO S. Defour
    • 62'
      Defour makes way for Arfield.
    • 63'
Arsenal are ponderous in possession and cannot find a way through the Clarets once again. Frustration is starting to build for the visitors.
    • 64'
Ozil has not been on his game today and validates that point with an exclamation mark by hammering his attempted strike from a tight angle into the stand behind the goal.
    • 66'
The defending from Burnley this afternoon has been extremely impressive. They've been organised and committed at the back, and have limited Sanchez's threat all afternoon.
    • 68'
No sign of changes yet from the Arsenal bench, although it may be time for a couple due to their struggles in attack.
    • 70'
CHANCE! Koscielny wins possession in the middle of the park and feeds Sanchez, but the Chilean fails to bring it under control in time time to exploit the opening. Walcott eventually takes the bal down the right and fires his shot comfortably wide of the post.
    • 71'

    • 71'
Oxlade-Chamberlain replaces Iwobi for the Gunners.
    • 72'
Cazorla raids around the back of the Burnley defence and slides the ball across the face of goal. Mee clears, but it hits Keane and there are mild claims for a penalty from the Arsena players, but the referee points for a corner.
    • 73'
CHANCE! Arsenal keep the pressure on with back-to-back corners and the ball loops up from the second and falls kindly for Sanchez to take it out of the sky. He lashes a volley towards the bottom corner, but it travels inches past the post. That was so close to breaking the deadlock.
    • 75'
OFF THE POST! Boyd lifts the ball into the box from a Burnley corner and Keane climbs above two Arsenal players to head at goal, only to see his effort clatter off the woodwork and bounce to safety.
    • 76'
Arsenal get a chance to threaten from a free-kick as Ozil lines up a strike from 30 yards, but his day doesn't improve as he slams his effort into the wall.
    • 78'
Burnley are continuing their stout effort at the back, but will have to be wary of their concentration levels dropping late in the game.
    • 81'
Ozil drifts off his man at the back post to collect Cazorla's cross, but his ball across the face of goal is poor and cleared away from danger. However, Arsenal are coming forward again.
    • 82'
Burnley are backed up right on the edge of their own box. They have to be so careful here with their discipline and organisation.
    • 84'
Ozil tries a throughball for Oxlade-Chamberlain, but his pass just has too much pace on it for the midfielder to reach before it heads out of play.
    • 85'
CHANCE! Burnley get caught out at the back and Sanchez slides the ball to Walcott, who curls an effort towards the top corner from the edge of the box, but sends it just past the post.
    • 87'
Arsena's final ball today has been nowhere near good enough and Oxlade-Chamberlain is the next guilty party by slamming his cross straight into Mee's legs.
    • 90'
There will be two minutes of added time.
    • 90'
Walcott almost bundles his way through the Burnley defence, but once again Keane is there to clear the danger.
