The physios have patched Smith up, and he's back on his feet.
    • 90'
The ball bounces up to Williams in the Bournemouth box, but he can't get his header on target. Smith gets caught by Williams' elbow and has a nasty cut across the eyes. There'll be a bit more stoppage time for this one.
    • 90'
Everton pump the ball long, but Francis brings it down well and smashes it away.
    • 90'
Coleman beats his man but is incapable of picking out a team-mate with his cross. Eddie Howe is up and bellowing at his players, willing them towards the win.

Bournemouth have produced the perfect tonic to a disappointing week by cruising to victory against Everton today. A Junior Stanislas strike in the first half proved the difference between the teams, and the result marks the Cherries’ first ever victory over the Merseyside club. Arter and Surman were

A fantastic half of football for Bournemouth who have looked dangerous throughout and could quite conceivably be more than one up. A stunning Stanislas strike is the difference between the two sides - the winger opening the scoring via a thunderous shot from the edge of the box. Everton have looked

Bournemouth hand another start to Jack Wilshere, despite rumours he may lose his place to former Toffee Dan Gosling. Callum Wilson is brought in to replace the injured Joshua King to lead the Bournemouth line, while the Cherries otherwise remain unchanged from their 4-0 loss to Manchester City last

This fixture last November produced one of the finest games of the season. A 98th minute Junior Stanislas equaliser rescued Bournemouth a point from the jaws of defeat as the match ended 3-3. The result marked a turning point in the Cherries’ season, as they went on to win their next three consecuti

Bournemouth meanwhile have endured a difficult start to the season, and back-to-back losses against Manchester City and Preston North End have done little to lift spirits on the south coast. Manager Eddie Howe continues to face speculation over a proposed move to Arsenal, and this will have done lit

Koeman has built Everton's success on a solid defensive platform, based on the signing of former Swansea City captain Ashley Williams, but has also succeeded in harnessing the Toffees' attacking talents. Visitors Everton can go top of the Premier League if they secure a victory today, following their finest ever start to a Premier League season. The Toffees have been in imperious form under new boss Ronald Koeman and remain unbeaten in the league. However, Wednesday night’s 2-0 EFL Cup defeat at Nor

Hello everyone and welcome to our live text commentary of today’s Premier League fixture between Bournemouth and Everton at the Vitality Stadium.
    • 1'
CHANCE!!! It's a very bright start for Bournemouth, as they spread the ball wide to Charlie Daniels. He flashes a cross into the Everton box, and Callum Wilson steals in ahead of Ashley Williams, but his glancing header flies wide of the far post.
    • 1'
And we're off! Bournemouth get us underway kicking from right to left
    • 3'
Yannick Bolasie swings an early cross into the box, but is unable to pick out Romelu Lukaku. The Everton travelling support in fine voice here today, they've had plenty to cheer about of late.
    • 5'
Bournemouth are taking a few risks here. Everton are pressing very high and the Cherries came close twice there to being disposessed on the edge of their own box.
    • 7'
Wilson is released by a long ball over the top. The striker breaks into the box, wrong-footing Phil Jagielka in the process, but is denied by Maarten Stekelenburg who dives at his feet to gather the ball.
    • 9'
WONDERFUL SAVE!!! Artur Boruc pulls that one straight out of the top draw as he gets down smartly to deny a Romelu Lukaku header. Ross Barkley provided an excellent delivery from his free-kick and had it not been for a fantastic Boruc save the Belgian would have had his fifth of the season.
    • 11'
OFF THE BAR!!! Jack Wilshere comes very close to opening his Bournemouth account as his deflected shot crashes into the Everton crossbar! The England international was found in the box by Wilson and would have scored but for an excellent block by Seamus Coleman.
    • 12'
CLOSE!!! Jordon Ibe dances past Coleman before taking aim. His strike is deflected narrowly wide for a corner.
    • 14'
It's all Bournemouth at the moment, the hosts have responded to Lukaku's warning and have penned Everton into their own half. The Cherries look very dangerous here.
    • 16'
Ronald Koeman might be sitting a little closer to the edge of his seat right now. The Dutchman's only previous visit to the Vitality Stadium saw his Southampton side lose 2-0 last March.
    • 18'
OFF THE POST!!! Harry Arter strikes and has the Everton woodwork rattling for a second time today. Arter breaks into the box and keeps his shot low. The ball flies past Stekelenburg, but clips the outside of the post on its way out for a goal kick.
    • 19'
A bit of a stoppage in play now as Adam Smith is down. It looks like he had his heels clipped by Kevin Mirallas. A painful one, but it didn't look deliberate.
    • 23'
      G J. Stanislas Assist H. Arter
    • 23'
WHAT A GOAL!!! Junior Stanislas crashes the ball into the back of Stekelenburg's net from the edge of the box. The winger found himself with a lot of time and made no mistake in picking out the top corner. Bournemoth lead 1-0!
    • 24'
Harry Arter with the assist as he gets his head up and picks out Stanislas in plenty of space on the edge of the box.
    • 26'
Bournemouth are hungry for more here, and have given their visitors no respite. Everton don't seem to be able to get close to the men in red and black at the moment.
    • 28'
SAVE! Gareth Barry strikes from range to sting the fingertips of Boruc. It goes over the bar for a corner.
    • 30'
Everton gradually growing into the game, as Cook provides a solid header to clear a Bolasie cross.
    • 34'
Gueye goes into referee Bobby Madley's book as he catches Arter late.
    • 35'
Williams heads over from a Barkley free-kick, with the Wales captain meeting the ball well but failing to provide the requisite direction.
    • 37'
STAT ATTACK: Bournemouth have never beaten Everton in six previous attempts in all competitions (D1 L5), with their only draw coming in this exact Premier League fixture last season.
    • 39'
Jagielka comes close to playing Everton into trouble, but Williams is quick to react and snuff out the Bournemouth attack.
    • 42'
Daniels picks up a yellow card as he dives in on Bolasie
    • 45'
Two minutes of added time to be played. A bit of the urgency has gone after a frantic first half, but Eddie Howe will be very pleased with his team's work so far.
    • 46'
Both teams are unchanged at the start of the half.
    • 46'
And Barkley kicks us off for the second half!
    • 47'
Everton looking far more composed in the early exchanges of this half, maintaining posession with a fast tempo. They win a freekick in the Bournemouth half but Cook deals with the ball in comfortably.
    • 48'
Some acrobatics from Cook, who attempts to pull off a bicycle kick in the Everton box. Everton failed to clear a Stanislas free-kick, allowing the ball to fall to the Cherries' centre half who rather fluffs his lines as the ball bounces out for a goal kick.
    • 50'
Koeman appears to be looking at his bench, Bournemouth are still looking the dominant side here against a rattled Everton side.
    • 52'
The Toffees still struggling to turn their fortunes around here, they haven’t won three consecutive Premier League away games since April 2014.
    • 54'
CHANCE! Barkley heads just wide from close range. A perfectly measured cross from Coleman picks out the England interbational, but he miscues his header and it goes wide.
    • 55'
SI T. Cleverley SO H. Arter
    • 55'
Barry makes way for Cleverley, its not been the best of days for the veteran midfielder.
    • 57'
Oviedo picks up a booking as he scythes down Smith who has had the beating of the Costa Rican in this second half.
    • 58'
Stanislas has provided a series of wicked deliveries from dead-ball situations this afternoon, and another whipped cross needs to be dealt with. Williams puts his head on it and clears for a corner.
    • 60'
      SI Deulofeu SO H. Arter
    • 60'
Deulofeu is brought on for Mirallas for Everton's second substitution, Koeman will hope the Spaniard can inject some urgency into the game.
    • 60'
A miss placed pass from Oviedo lands at the feet of Arter. The midfielder takes aim, but his shot from distance is comfortably off-target.
    • 62'
Romelu Lukaku has been a spectator for most of this afternoon, but finally picks up the ball in a dangerous area. A well timed Arter challenge forces the ball wide and out for a corner.
    • 63'
GOOD SAVE! Boruc with another impressive stop, as he claws away Coleman's deep cross which had come very close to finding the head of Barkley.
    • 64'
Bournemouth look to catch Everton on the counter-attack, as Wilson breaks free. The striker is put off by Bolasie's pressure though and loses posession on the edge of the box.
    • 65'
The game has its fast pace back, the ball is pinging from one end to the other at the moment.
    • 67'
Wasteful from Barkley, who picks up the ball in the Bournemouth box but hesitates and checks back twice before mishitting his shot into the crowd behind the goal.
    • 71'
SI M. Gradel SO H. Arter
    • 71'
Ibe makes way for Gradel to a warm round of applause from the Vitality Stadium crowd. He's put in a good shift down the Bournemouth left today.
    • 72'
Everton coach Duncan Ferguson getting quite animated in the technical area there. The former striker bounces up off the bench and screams at his players as he fetches the ball back for a Bournemouth throw.
    • 74'
CLOSE!!! Bolasie flashes the ball just over the bar following decent interplay with Lukaku. The ball is returned into the wingers feet by the big Belgian, but Bolasie can't keep his effort down.
    • 76'
SI D. Gosling SO H. Arter
    • 76'
Wilshere makes way for Gosling after a decent showing today. By no means pulling the strings, but certainly a valuable component in this Bournemouth performance.
    • 78'
Lukaku is definitely becoming a more apparent presence in the match. The 23 year old has had a few decent touches and is linking up well with Barkley and Bolasie. Bournemouth still look resolute in defence though.
    • 81'
SI E. Valencia SO H. Arter
    • 81'
A last roll of the dice from Koeman, as Gueye is withdrawn in order to introduce Valencia. Everton going with two up top.
    • 82'
A foul throw from Coleman sums up Everton's day so far, they just haven't been at the races.
    • 83'
The ball nearly lands at the feet of Gosling, as Wilson is tackled in the Everton box. A strong challenge from Jagielka halts the Cherries' progress.
    • 84'
As Jagielka carries the ball out of defence Surman comes flying in with a very wreckless challenge and deservedly picks up a yellow card.
    • 86'
Stanislas skips past Oviedo and is happy to run down a bit of time in the corner. He eventually forces a free-kick as the ball hits Oviedo's arm.
    • 88'
CHANCE!!! Bolasie has done little of note throughout this match but produced a wonderful cross there to provide Valencia with a guilt edge chance. The ball is at an awkward height for the Ecuadorian, and he pokes the ball wide as Bournemouth edge close to three points.
    • 90'
SI B. Afobe SO H. Arter
    • 90'
The fourth official has five minutes on the board - not sure where they came from...
    • 90'
Bournemouth's final change sees Wilson give way for Afobe.
