    • EXTRA TIME
    • 45'
Jerome loses the ball for Norwich just inside the Swansea half and the hosts quickly counter, as Sigurdsson spreads the ball to Ayew on the right. He runs at Klose and then cuts inside, drawing what appeared to be a foul from the German. The referee ignores the protests, though. That probably would
    • 90'
Swansea are being forced to withstand serious pressure here, but they have everyone back and behind the ball. Norwich are hacking the ball into the area rather aimlessly but the hosts are standing firm.

There will be four minutes added on here.

The referee brings things to a close, as Swansea seal a big win in their bid to avoid the drop. Sigurdsson's cool second-half finish was ultimately enough to secure back-to-back wins for Alan Curtis in the absence of the ill Francesco Guidolin, but Norwich continue to rot in serious trouble towards
    • 0'
The referee brings a fairly turgid first half to a close, with the score still goalless at the break. It has been a pretty even encounter on the face of things, with neither side dominating. It should be said, though, that Norwich have steadily improved as the game has gone on. However, it hasn't be

One spectator of note attending today's game will be new Fifa president Gianni Infantino. The 45-year-old, elected as Sepp Blatter's successor last month, is in Wales for the 130th International Football Association Board annual meeting.

Norwich boss Neil does not have the luxury of being able to make six changes and strengthen his team in the process. No, the Canaries have made just two alterations to the XI which lost to Chelsea, with Ryan Bennett and Alex Tettey replaced by Steven Naismith and Gary O'Neil, respectively.
    • 0'
Curtis has made a total of six changes to the team which beat Arsenal, but those alterations have arguably made their team stronger today than it was at the Emirates. Federico Fernandez, Angel Rangel, Neil Taylor, Leon Britton, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Alberto Paloschi all return to the Swans' starting

Swansea will no doubt be encouraged by the win over Arsenal, but the Liberty Stadium has by no means been a fortress for them in recent times, with only two of their last 12 home games producing victories. Alan Curtis will be the man in charge of the Swans again today as Francesco Guidolin continues

Norwich put up a decent fight in their last outing but ultimately slumped to a 2-1 loss at home to a resurgent Chelsea. The defeat ensured their winless run continued, with their last victory coming at home to Southampton on January 2. The Canaries are in freefall heading into the final months of th

Hello and welcome to the LIVE coverage of the Barclays Premier League encounter between Swansea City and Norwich City. I will be describing the action for you today as these two sides go head-to-head at the Liberty Stadium looking to boost their respective survival hopes towards the bottom of the ta
    • 1'
Off we go! The hosts get us started in Swansea.
    • 3'
Encouraging start from the home side, as Cork makes ground up the right and cuts inside Brady. He curls a left-footed cross into the danger zone, but it is a little too heavy and bends round before going out for a goal-kick.
    • 4'
That's a crunching challenge from O'Neil, who clatters in on Cork and completely misses the ball. He has probably benefitted from the the fact the game is young, otherwise he probably would have been booked for that.
    • 5'
Swansea have started well here. They are dictating the early exchanges and knocking the ball around well. Routledge attempts to trouble the Norwich defence with a cross but Klose is there to nod clear.
    • 6'
Good move from Swansea, as a free-flowing exchange sees Sigurdsson feed a pass beyond the defence for Paloschi, but the Italian swipes at the ball and the connection is poor. Ruddy sweeps up with ease.
    • 7'
First involvement for Redmond now, as the English winger runs at Taylor before cutting in on to his left foot. He gets a shot away and forces Fabianski into a routine stop.
    • 9'
Klose barges into Sigurdsson from behind midway into the Norwich half and concedes a free-kick, though Swansea waste it, as Routledge swiftly gives the ball straight back to the away side.
    • 10'
Norwich appeared to be on the verge of a promising situation as Pinto's long throw-in was latched on to by Jerome, who used his body well against Fernandez, but the full-back's launch was illegal as his foot left the ground.
    • 12'
Not far off! Sigurdsson is penalised for an aerial foul on O'Neil about 40 yards from the hosts' goal and Brady clipped in the resulting free-kick. His delivery is fantastic, as he gets plenty of curl and speed on the cross. However, it ultimately misses everyone and goes just wide of the target.
    • 13'
Jerome is the first player to have his name taken today, as the striker goes up and challenges Fernandez in the air. The striker's arm collides with the defender's face, leaving the former Napoli man in a heap on the floor. A booking seems warranted.
    • 15'
Norwich now get themselves another free-kick, as Naismith releases Jerome and the former Stoke man is tripped just before he really gets going. Britton escapes a booking, but it gives Brady the opportunity to do some damage.
    • 16'
Well that wasn't quite as good! Brady's delivery is well hit, but it is pretty simple for Fabianski to deal with, as it sails straight through to the goalkeeper.
    • 17'
That's an awful tackle from Brady! The Irishman is beaten by Rangel and the left-back jumps in with a crude lunge, which is bordering on two-footed. The yellow card comes straight out, unsurprisingly.
    • 18'
NORWICH ESCAPE! Sigurdsson's free-kick delivery is marvellous and is planted right into the centre of the area. Ayew looks set to get his head to it, but the Ghanaian is clattered into by Ruddy, who takes the ball and the man, punching clear in the process.
    • 20'
Ayew felt the full force of Ruddy there and was in need of some medical attention, but he is back on his feet and on the pitch once again.
    • 22'
Naismith has been quiet so far, but this time he drops a little deeper and then crosses towards Jerome. The delivery is headed out to the right by Fernandez and then Routledge is penalised for a nudge on Redmond.
    • 23'
Good cross from Brady, as the left-back curls the free-kick into the danger zone from the right flank. It seems to evade everyone on its way through but Fabianski gobbles it up and manages to not lose sight of the ball amongst the crowd of players.
    • 24'
Excellent defending by Fernandez! Naismith tries his luck with the quick dribbling on the edge of the area, but the Argentine halts him in his tracks and then is strong in the following challenge with O'Neil before taking it away from danger.
    • 26'
Norwich have a problem here. Brady is prone and clutching his knee. Play is halted as he seeks some attention from the physios and they escort him off the pitch. He does appear to be in some discomfort here.
    • 27'
SI R. Bennett SO R. Brady
    • 27'
Off he goes. Brady is forced to make way. He appears to have some studs marks on his knee too. Bennett comes on in his place, meaning a Norwich reshuffle is in order at the back.
    • 29'
Fernandez is having a good game out there so far for Swansea. This time the centre-back is able to get in the way of a Howson pass which looked destined to put the hosts' defence under pressure.
    • 31'
Redmond has been very quiet so far. He finally get the opportunity to run at the defence, with the isolated Williams facing him up. The winger jinks inside and then immediately darts up the flank. He loses his balance, though, and allows the experienced Swansea captain to get a foot in and end the d
    • 33'
This is a good, prolonged spell of possession and control for Norwich. They bide their time with the build-up play, though it eventually comes to an end without much to shout about for the visitors, as a heavy touch from Martin sees the ball go straight to the hosts.
    • 34'
There are tackles flying in all over the place here today. Martin clatters into Routledge and gets the ball one moment, and then a minute or so later Taylor catches Redmond with a late lunge. The left-back gets a booking for his efforts.
    • 36'
NORWICH SURVIVE! Swansea work the ball really well from right-to-left and Taylor plays a calm, low cross in towards the penalty spot. Ayew latches on to it, takes it in his stride and then pulls the trigger, but he slips and the vital moment and allows O'Neil to recover.
    • 38'
Ayew has been disappointing until now, but he gets the opportunity to weave his magic now as he pops up on the right. The Ghana star cuts in onto his left foot and crosses. It lands near the front post and forces an unconvincing intervention from Klose, but Norwich escape unscathed nonetheless.
    • 40'
Good play by Redmond, as he slips a fine pass in behind Taylor for Pinto. The right-back collects and then crosses. His delivery is a little overhit, but is still kept in Norwich's possession by Naismith, who tees up Hoolahan. The Irishman then looks to lift it over the defence for Howson, but Willi
    • 42'
The referee is having words now with Williams. The Welshman was prevented from taking a quick free-kick by Naismith standing right in front of him, so he opted to simply smash the ball straight at the Scot. Both escape bookings, though.
    • 44'
SAVED! That's better from Norwich! The visitors work the ball well to Naismith on the edge of the area and he shows good awareness to pick out Jerome to his left. The striker tries his luck with a first-time effort from 25 yards, but Fabianski gets down to his left and palms it away.
    • 46'
SI M. Barrow SO R. Brady
    • 46'
Lively start to the second half for Routledge, as the winger launches himself through the air to bring down a lofted pass, flicking it over the head of Bennett in the process. The defender is forced to haul him down and the yellow card comes out.
    • 46'
We are back under way for the second half! There was one change at the break, with Alberto Paloschi making way for Barrow. The Italian was anonymous.
    • 47'
Sigurdsson clips the free-kick into the danger zone, about 30 yards from goal. Klose is there to head clear, though, bringing an end to the threat.
    • 49'
Fine play from the hosts, as they find themselves under pressure while trying to clear their lines. They pass the ball around calmly and quickly and bring it away in style. The fans show their appreciation.
    • 50'
First involvement now for Barrow, as the Gambian comes out wide, knocks the ball beyond Martin, holds him off and is then fouled by the Scot, who is deservedly booked for the cynical tug.
    • 52'
Williams is in a bit of pain here, as the Swansea captain receives a blow to the face while trying to get on the end of a free-kick delivery. He appears to be capable of staying on though.
    • 54'
Good play by Hoolahan, as he pops up out on the left and draws a foul from Rangel. That was a rash decision from the Spaniard.
    • 55'
SI L. Fer SO R. Brady
    • 55'
A sequence of corners results in nothing for Swansea, as Norwich defend two in quick succession without any issues. They are adamant they should have another as Jerome appears to knock the ball out, but the referee believes it took a last touch of Barrow. The Swans then bring on former Norwich man F
    • 55'
The Norwich free-kick comes to nothing and Swansea try to spring a counter. Redmond appears to clear up, but he then smashes the ball back towards Ruddy from the halfway line and sticks it out for a corner.
    • 57'
Good run by Fer, as the Dutchman drives straight through the Norwich midfield and is barged over by O'Neil, who goes into the referee's book.
    • 59'
That's a chance! The ball is worked into the Norwich area and Sigurdsson manages to get a shot away. It smacks againts a defender and loops up into the air, heading for the back post. Barrow is the quickest to it but he knocks it well over from a tight angle.
    • 60'
Decent play again from the hosts. Barrow has made a difference since coming on, and this time he appears on the right, before teeing up Ayew to his left. The Ghanaian tries to find the top-left corner but misses the target.
    • 61'
      G G. Sigurðsson Assist R. Brady
    • 61'
Excellent pass from Fer, as the Dutchman picks out Sigurdsson through a crowd of players and the midfielder provides a cool finish.
    • 61'
GOAL!!!! SWANSEA TAKE THE LEAD! Routledge does brilliantly to track Pinto all the way back to his own area before then stealing the ball and coming away with it. The home side work it back up the other end of the pitch, where Fer picks out the perfect pass through to the left side of the area and Si

SI P. Bamford SO R. Brady
    • 64'
SI D. Mbokani SO R. Brady
    • 64'
And the other change sees Mbokani take the place of Jerome, who has been pretty poor.
    • 64'
Two changes now for Norwich, as Neil finally rolls the dice. Bamford is the first on, replacing Naismith.
    • 66'
NORWICH ESCAPE! Mbokani almost immediately causes his manager to regret his introduction, as he is caught out trying to take the ball out from the back. Routledge then plays the ball low into the danger zone but Ayew can't get his feet around it.
    • 68'
Good play again from Barrow, as the striker darts up the right, comes inside and picks out a clever pass into the area for Sigurdsson. The midfielders gets a shot away but it is blocked right in front of him.
    • 70'
Norwich are quickly back on the front foot. Eventually Bamford exploits space on the left and forces his way past Fernandez and into the area. The Chelsea-owned forward tries hammering the ball across the face of goal, but Fabianski gets in the way.
    • 72'
Better from the visitors. Norwich use the ball really well as they work it up the right and then into the area. Bamford cuts it back to Hoolahan, who then tees up the arriving Howson, but Williams gets back well to kill off the threat.
    • 74'
BARROW! The attacker has been a real threat since coming on. This time he runs at Martin, producing a couple of stepovers and then cutting inside before curling a delivery into the area. His effort bends round and almost creeps inside the left-hand post.
    • 76'
Norwich have not made much use of Mbokani's physical attributes since his introduction. This time they loft a free-kick into the danger zone towards the Congolese striker, but he nods it straight out of play.
    • 78'
Almost great play by Hoolahan. The Irishman receives the ball from Martin on the left. His first touch sees the it bounce up a little, but he improvises and then drops a volleyed pass over the defence for Bamford, only for it to be a little ahead of the youngster.
    • 80'
More really bright play from Barrow. The winger charges into the Norwich half, bursting past a couple of defenders and then gets into the area, evading the efforts of Klose. He cuts it back to Sigurdsson, who drops his shoulder, beats the German defender and crosses, but Ruddy takes care of it.
    • 82'
SI B. Gomis SO R. Brady
    • 82'
Here comes a switch for Swansea now, as Gomis is brought on for Ayew, who has worked hard in attack today.
    • 84'
That's a wild challenge from Bennett. The centre-back, who has already been booked, is beaten by Gomis and then desperately tries to get back at him and steal the ball away, but only hauls the striker down. He's lucky to escape a second booking there.
    • 85'
GREAT SAVE! Sigurdsson produces a fine strike from the resulting free-kick, sending a powerful curling effort towards the top-left corner, only for Ruddy to tip it over the crossbar.
    • 87'
DESPERATE DEFENDING! Redmond does really well on the left, as he glides past Rangel with ease and then crosses from the byline. Bamford heads it back into the danger zone, but Williams throws himself in the way and clears initially.
    • 88'
SWANSEA ESCAPE AGAIN! Norwich remain on the front foot, keeping the hosts penned into their area. Hoolahan does well, but sees his effort blocked. The ball loops up into the air and Routledge tries to smash it clear, but he only knocks it straight back into the middle of the box. Redmond sends it go
    • 90'
BAMFORD! The young Chelsea-owned striker does really well in the area, using his body and easing beyond Fernandez. He prods the ball towards the bottom-left corner, but Fabianski makes the save.
