Dele Alli caps off another impressive display by laying on the third goal for Chadli. Spurs played a corner short before the Belgian attacker added gloss to proceedings from a Tottenham perspective.
    • 90'
And now it is three! Nacer Chadli makes it 3 with an outstanding curling effort from outside the area that Hennessey can do nothing about. The scoreline is perhaps harsh on Palace but this is a massive victory for Tottenham Hotspur.
    • 90'
SAVE! Spurs aren't settling for two they want a third. Chadli plays a lovely sweeping pass into the path of Bentaleb who stings the palms of Hennessey from distance.

I hope you enjoyed this enthralling game as much as we did! That's all we have time for today I'm afraid. We hope you'll join us again next time. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Crystal Palace will hope that today's performance, if not result can be a stepping stone to better things going forward. If they play like this more often then it won't be long before they start climbing back up the table. As for Spurs, it has been a fantastic afternoon for them with Southampton bea

Mauricio Pochettino will be incredibly proud of his squad. They had to hang in there at times and can thank Hugo Lloris for keeping Palace at bay in the second half. But the character and resilience shown will have further convinced the Tottenham Hotspur Head Coach that he has a special group of pla

I'm trying to catch my breath. That was a pulsating encounter. Both teams gave it everything but in the end Tottenham's superior quality was enough to win the day. That was a good, old fashioned - proper London derby. It was feisty, fierce and extremely competitive. Alan Pardew will be bitterly disa

The players are just beginning to emerge from the tunnel and the second half will be starting shortly...

Everything is set up for an intriguing conclusion to this contest. The second half is fascinatingly poised. Palace will feel - so far, so good. Their game plan is going to plan at the moment. If Zaha can continue playing the way he has done in this game then the home side will fancy that they can cr

As for Mauricio Pochettino, a penny for his thoughts at the moment? He has seen his side play pretty well for the vast majority of the first half yet they find themselves behind against a very determined and resolute opponent. You suspect the Spurs manager will be fairly calm at this stage. Surely h
    • 0'
That has been a thoroughly entertaining first fourty-five minutes. It would be fair to say that Crystal Palace scored rather against the run of play but the home side will not care one bit. Wilfried Zaha has been a real livewire all game and Alan Pardew will want to see him on the ball as much as po

The players are out on the pitch and kick off is just a couple of minutes away. A terrific atmosphere, as always, here at Selhurst Park.

There has been plenty of speculation in the build-up to this match that Palace goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey would lose his place in the side after some high profile errors in recent games but his manager has given him his full backing. Alan Pardew will hope his confidence in the Welsh number one is we

As for the visitors, Mauricio Pochettino makes eight changes from the side that beat Leicester City away from home in the FA Cup on Wednesday night. Kieran Trippier retains his place in the Premier League side, while there is no room for usual right back Kyle Walker amongst the Spurs substitutes.

Welcome along to Selhurst Park for this live text commentary for the Premier League clash between Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur.
    • 1'
Tottenham get us underway here in South East London! Both teams lineup in their traditional colours.
    • 2'
Spurs seeing plenty of the ball in these early stages. The visitors are quite content to maintain possession. Every so often a long ball goes up towards Harry Kane but it is easy for Palace to deal with.
    • 4'
Zaha picks the pocket of Dier in midfield and drives towards the Tottenham penalty area but the Palace winger ends up being hauled down by Danny Rose and it gives the home side the opportunity to test Lloris. Puncheon takes the resulting free-kick but can't keep it down and the shot sails over the c
    • 6'
Kane is then harshly adjudged to be offside from Alli's pass. That was promising from the visitors, as they turned defence into attack in an instant. Eriksen and Dembele exchanged clever passes in the build up there.
    • 8'
SAVE! Hennessey is very alert to turn Trippier's mishit cross over the bar. That could have been a lucky break for the visitors there. Good goalkeeping from the under fire Palace stopper.
    • 10'
The game has already settled into the pattern that you might have expected. Tottenham are dominating possession, while the home side are happy to sit deep and look to hit their opponents on the counter attack.
    • 11'
WIDE! Son, fresh from his man of the match performance against Leicester during the week, turns neatly in the final third before letting fly with his left foot but his shot is dragged wide of the post. A sign of positive intent from the South Korean forward.
    • 12'
Rose against Zaha is shaping up to be a fascinating battle this afternoon. The Palace winger skips past the Tottenham left back but is then stopped in his tracks by a well timed tackle from Eric Dier.
    • 14'
Alan Pardew will want his midfielders to be a little more careful on the ball than they have been so far. On a few occasions they have been far too sloppy and have simply handed the initiative back to Spurs.
    • 15'
Tottenham force a corner which is kept alive by Rose at the back post. Alderweireld then pumps the ball back into the Palace penalty area which is cleared but only as far as Eriksen who releases Kane who tests Hennessey low at his near post. Perhaps the England striker could have looked for a teamma
    • 16'
CHANCE! Free header for Alderweireld but he glances it wide from Eriksen's outswinging corner. The Tottenham centre back will maybe feel he should have hit the target there. The Belgian international has been a threat from set pieces all season. Let off for Palace, far too many players ball watching
    • 18'
Cabaye tries to get the home side going by whipping in a left footed cross from the right but he gets far too much on it and Spurs can clear their lines.
    • 20'
Lloris, not for the first time this afternoon it must be said, hits a poor pass that puts his team under needless pressure. Zaha pounces on the lapse and Palace nearly capitalise on the mistake. The Eagles wide man puts in a teasing low cross that Wickham is almost able to convert but Spurs have jus
    • 22'
That half a chance for the home side might just be the spark that the Palace players and supporters require. It would be unfair to say that Pardew's men have been a little flat, as they simply haven't had enough of the ball so far to get themselves a foothold in the game.
    • 24'
The game has just got a little bit scrappy in the last few minutes with both teams guilty of giving away silly fouls that have spoilt their own forward momentum. As has been a feature of their play this season, the Tottenham full backs are pushing very high up the pitch - trying to provide as much w
    • 26'
Kane, Eriksen and Alli combine on the top of the box which gives the Spurs youngster a chance but Alli can't get enough purchase on his half volley and it is easy for Hennessey to deal with.
    • 28'
As the 28th minute arrives that signals that is now exactly eight hours of Premier League football that have gone by since Crystal Palace last scored.
    • 30'
1-0! Palace take the lead! Jan Vertonghen diverts Zaha's cross into his own net from close range. Just out of the reach of the despairing dive of Hugo Lloris. That is exactly the sort of break the Eagles have been looking for.
    • 32'
WIDE! Good response from Tottenham. Alderweireld takes a pot shot from the edge of the area that whistles past the post with Kane desperately trying to get a toe on it.
    • 34'
SAVE! Spurs launch a quick break with four or five players up in the attack. Eriksen finds Alli, who had drifted onto the left flank, who then cuts inside onto his favoured right foot. The former MK Dons midfielder looks to bend it into the far corner but Hennessey reads it all the way and holds on
    • 36'
Puncheon takes a corner from the left hand side and beautifully picks out Cabaye on the top of the box who meets the corner sweetly but his volley is well blocked by Vertonghen. That shot needed stopping as the French international had met that one sweetly.
    • 38'
This time it's Tottenham's turn to attack - Dembele picks out the onrushing Trippier down the right wing, who cleverly pulls the ball back to the waiting Son who tries to turn Delaney inside the area but Palace defend well in numbers and smuggle the ball away to safety.
    • 40'
SAVE! Hennessey shows fantastic reflexes to deny Spurs an equaliser. Eriksen stood the ball up at the far post and Danny Rose meets it with a side footed volley but can only fire his effort straight at the Palace goalkeeper.
    • 42'
This really has been a pulsating London so far. Tottenham go close again but no-one able to connect with Harry Kane's dangerous looking cross flashing across the face of goal. The away side are pushing hard to get back on level terms before the break but Palace are standing firm.
    • 44'
A period of sustained possession for the North London side ends with Alderweireld getting an attempted cross all wrong. Smashing the ball out of play. Alan Pardew will be delighted if his side can go into the half-time interval with their lead in tact.
    • 45'
Crystal Palace, a goal to the good, get the second half restarted.
    • 47'
Spurs have begun as they mean to go on. Straight back on the ball and on the front foot. Eriksen lays the ball off to Rose who exchanges passes with Son and looks to burst into the Palace penalty area but Dann comes across and hacks the ball clear.
    • 49'
Spurs players and fans howl in unison for a handball from Scott Dann inside the penalty area but there is nothing doing from either the referee or the linesman. It looked like the ball struck the Palace defender's face to me, would have been an incredibly harsh decision if it had been given.
    • 51'
OVER! Christian Eriksen lets fly from about 25 yards out and almost scores an absolute screamer. The Tottenham midfielder struck a fierce, dipping right footed shot that flew just over the bar. Hennessey was beaten all ends up there.
    • 53'
Cabaye gets himself in a tangle with first Kane and then Alli before ending up in a heap just in front of the dugouts. The ex-Newcastle United playmaker came off worse and looked far from impressed with the challenges.
    • 55'
CHANCE! Eric Dier curls in a pinpoint cross from the right hand side and puts the ball onto the forehead of Kane but the Spurs striker can only head the ball straight at Hennessey. It's the sort of chance he usually gobbles up.
    • 56'
SI N. Chadli SO E. Dier
    • 56'
Pochettino makes an early change and it is an attacking one. Dier is replaced by Nacer Chadli. Seems a purely tactical alteration. You would imagine that Alli will drop a bit deeper with Eriksen moving into the no.10 role.
    • 58'
Eriksen is caught late with a high foot from Jason Puncheon but the referee sees nothing wrong with the challenge and allows play to continue. Unless Palace can see a bit more of the ball it looks like being a rearguard action for the last 30 minutes or so of this match.
    • 60'
Son is dropping deeper and deeper to get on the ball so that he can turn and run at the defence. This time his surge forward is brought to an end by McArthur who crudely hauls him down. Yellow card for the Palace midfielder.
    • 61'
Simple call for the referee to make. Eriksen goes for goal from the free-kick and it is well watched by Hennessey as the ball skipped up just in front of him.
    • 63'
      G H. Kane Assist E. Dier
    • 63'
Chadli's cross was a rather looping and hopeful one into the six yard box but Kane made something of it and gave Hennessey no time to react.
    • 63'
1-1! Spurs are back on level terms. And who else but Tottenham's talismanic striker - Harry Kane! The centre forward rose highest in the penalty area and headed home from close range. Fantastic hunger and desire shown there, he made that ball his.
    • 65'
As you would expect Tottenham have their tails up now and are pouring men forward at every chance they get. This will be a real test of Palace's resolve if they can stand up to the expected onslaught from the visitors. Important for Pardew's men to keep things tight for the next few minutes if they
    • 67'
Rose beats Zaha to the loose bouncing ball on the edge of the penalty area and is then brought down by the Palace wide man. The free-kick is in Eriksen territory but his shot crashes into the wall and the home side can breathe again.
    • 69'
SAVE! Lloris not once but twice keeps the score at 1-1 with two excellent reaction stops. Firstly he tips Zaha's curling shot away for a corner and then from the set-piece he gets down quickly to keep out Souare's low drive. Good goalkeeping.
    • 71'
Spurs now look to counter and Dele Alli leads the charge forward. He is then unceremoniously fouled by Ledley. Eriksen takes the set-piece but his cross doesn't beat the first man, again.
    • 73'
Jan Vertonghen's afternoon looks to be over. The Belgian defender appeared to be caught with a stray elbow to the face from Wickham moments earlier but it appears to be his knee that is the problem that will force him off. Kevin Wimmer is stripped off and ready to make his Premier League debut.
    • 75'
SI K. Wimmer SO E. Dier
    • 75'
Into the last 15 minutes here. It really is anyone's guess how this match will finish up. Both sides will fancy their chances of taking all three points.
    • 75'
      Substitution Jan Vertonghen Kevin Wimmer
    • 77'
There has been a lovely ebb and flow to this encounter from the get-go and the second half has been end-to-end stuff. Spurs have the chance to use Kieran Trippier on the overlap but Eriksen rather sells him short and Palace are able to clear.
    • 79'
SI M. Jedinak SO E. Dier
    • 79'
Wickham holds the ball up well before bringing Puncheon into play, the winger steps inside before being bodychecked by Trippier. This could be a big chance for Palace.
    • 79'
      Yellow card Kieran Trippier
    • 79'
      Substitution James McArthur Mile Jedinak
    • 80'
CHANCE! Dann and then Jedinak hit the frame of the Tottenham goal in quick succession. How unlucky can you get?! Puncheon's flighted cross was well met by Dann who looped his header onto the bar. The rebound then fell to Jedinak who crashed the ball off the woodwork. What an escape for Spurs.
    • 82'
Now it is Tottenham's turn to not just knock but hammer on the Palace door. Kane and then Trippier send cross after cross into the box but Delaney and Dann are up to the task.
    • 84'
      G D. Alli Assist E. Dier
    • 84'
2-1 SPURS! Dele Alli - take a bow son! The Tottenham midfielder has just scored a sensational goal. Alli flicked the ball over Jedinak's head before lashing an unstoppable volley into the bottom corner. Breathtaking skill.
    • 84'
Eriksen nodded the ball into Alli's path and the England international did the rest. Spurs have turned things around. Can they hold on?
    • 85'
SI F. Campbell SO E. Dier
    • 85'
Pardew immediately reacts to going behind by throwing on former Tottenham loanee Fraizer Campbell in place of Cabaye.
    • 88'
SI N. Bentaleb SO E. Dier
    • 88'
Pochettino looks to tighten things up in midfield by bringing on the more defensively minded Nabil Bentaleb for Christian Eriksen. Spurs will be desperate to see this out and claim a precious three points.
    • 88'
Palace are certainly not lying down and nor would you expect them to. Delaney whips in a great cross that is met by a diving header from Zaha but Lloris able to smother it. Can the home side rescue a point?
    • 90'
Spurs have numbers up in a counter-attack but Kane is rather greedy and goes for goal when he really should have played in Son with a reverse pass.
