    • 90'
Full time here at Upton Park. West Ham 1-1 Everton.
    • 90'
Barry almost sets Mirallas away on goal but his attempted through ball is just overhit and will run through to Adrian. Can either side fashion one last chance?
    • HALF TIME
    • 45'
Half time here at Upton Park 1-1.
    • 45'
Now all of a sudden it is Everton who are playing with a swagger. West Ham have clearly been rattled by that equaliser. Kone and Deulofeu are popping up all over the place at the moment.
    • 90'
The game has got a little bit scrappy towards the end and you get the feeling that both teams would settle for a draw now.
    • 90'
      M. Zárate goes into the referee's book.

Thanks very much for joining me this afternoon for this very entertaining 1-1 draw. That's all I've got time for today, so until next time I've been Chris Baker - enjoy the rest of your weekend!
    • 0'
West Ham move up into fifth place above Tottenham Hotspur who play tomorrow. Everton leapfrog their city rivals Liverpool into eighth position, having played a game more.
    • 0'
West Ham fans will be once again cursing the name of Romelu Lukaku who scored his seventh goal in as many games against them this afternoon. They will also be concerned about the injuries sustained by Dimitri Payet and Enner Valencia and hope that they are fit to return in a couple of weeks when the

In the end you would have to say that on full reflection of the ninety minutes that a draw was a fair result. Both teams had decent spells during the match but neither did enough to get the victory. A reasonable point for both sides as we head into the international break.

It has been refreshing to watch such an open and exciting first half in the Premier League. Many matches these days are tight and tense affairs, particularly in the opening fourty-five minutes and things don't really start to open up until the last twenty minutes or so. Given the end-to-end nature o

It perhaps says a lot about the progress that has been made in recent years by both these sides, that both teams' substitutes benches look very strong indeed. Slaven Bilic has the likes of Zarate, Valencia, Jelavic and Antonio to call upon. While Roberto Martinez has some decent options of his own w

It has been a thoroughly entertaining first fourty-minutes here in East London. Both teams have looked a lot better with the ball than without it. The attacking flair players for both sides have been at the forefront of this match thus far. More of the same in the second half please!
    • 0'
Both sets of players are out on the pitch and kick off is not far away now. On this weekend of remembrance there will be a minute's silence before the start of the match.

Only one change to the Everton team that thrashed Sunderland last Sunday with Bryan Oviedo missing out through injury and he is replaced by Brendan Galloway at left back. As for the Hammers, Winston Reid is back in the fold and replaces the suspended James Collins. Angelo Ogbonna returns to the squa

Although he has been trying to play it down in the build up to this match; this fixture must hold special significance to West Ham manager Slaven Bilic, who played for both clubs during his career. Both teams come into this game on the back of very different results last weekend. The Hammers were we

Good afternoon and welcome along to the Boleyn Ground for this Premier League clash between West Ham United and Everton. I'm Chris Baker and I'll be describing all the action for you today. It promises to be a very exciting encounter here in East London.
    • 1'
And we are underway! West Ham in their traditional claret and blue strip while Everton are in their away kit of white shirts, navy shorts and white socks.
    • 2'
West Ham are stroking the ball around confidently in these early moments  looking to give everyone an early touch. Everton are quite content to let the home side have it in their own half.
    • 3'
SHOT! Payet drifts onto the right hand side and dances past a couple of challenges before teeing up Moses who hits a first time shot into the side netting. A bright and positive start for the Hammers.
    • 5'
Now it is Everton's turn to threaten as Kone races down the right wing before putting in a dangerous looking cross into the area that Adrian does well to tip away from Lukaku who was lurking menancingly in the penalty area.
    • 7'
Gareth Barry and James McCarthy are just beginning to get on the ball and dictate proceedings from the middle of the park. Everton have settled down after West Ham looked lively in the opening five minutes or so.
    • 9'
Slaven Bilic will just want to see a little more patience from his players as Tomkins and Reid have both been guilty of going long a bit too early. With a target man like Andy Carroll to aim at it is always tempting for centre backs who are given too much time on the ball to take the easy option and
    • 11'
The pace and movement of the Everton front four is giving the West Ham defence a few problems. They seem unsure whether they should get tight or just stand off. In truth they aren't really doing either and it is giving the likes of Kone, Barkley and Lukaku plenty of time and space.
    • 13'
SAVE! Barkley turns sharply after the ball was fired into him by Galloway and lets fly with a snapshot from the edge of the area. Fortunately for Adrian in the West Ham goal it is straight at him.
    • 15'
OVER! West Ham work a freekick short before Cresswell whips in a lovely cross which is over the head of Carroll but is met by Moses. The winger on loan from Chelsea makes a good connection but can't keep his header down.
    • 17'
First of all Lanzini wriggles away from Coleman before dragging his shot wide. Everton immediately respond by launching a counter attack of their own which culminates in Kone slicing a shot wide when well placed at the top of the box. It's been a pretty open game so far.
    • 19'
Moses runs directly at Galloway and is brought down after minimal contact from the Everton defender. Payet takes the resulting set piece which is kept alive at the back post by Tomkins but none of his teammates can react quickly enough to the knockdown and Everton can hack it away.
    • 21'
West Ham are applying some sustained pressure at the moment but Everton are standing up to it well. Jenkinson and Cresswell are getting forward at every opportunity and the home side are really pinning their opponents back.
    • 23'
CHANCE! Payet crosses into the area inevitably looking for Carroll but it is overhit and the ball eventually drops to Cresswell who tries to bend a half volley into the top corner with his left foot but can't get quite enough swerve on his shot that curls wide.
    • 25'
SAVE! And it is a fairly straightforward one for Adrian from a Ross Barkley freekick. Victor Moses had rather needlessly handballed it about twenty-five yards from goal. It was a decent enough effort from Barkley but it would need to be something special to beat the West Ham 'keeper from that distan
    • 27'
It's now the turn of the away side to have a decent spell. Deulofeu shows great trickery to get past Cresswell before smashing the ball across goal. Adrian does very well to get down low and turn it away from danger with his foot.
    • 30'
      G M. Lanzini Assist Deulofeu
    • 30'
The young winger opens the scoring with a superb side footed finish from the edge of the area on the half volley. Moses had fired the ball into the Everton area which was blocked by Stones but it fell invitingly for Lanzini who showed great composure to score his first goal at Upton Park.
    • 30'
GOAL 1-0 WEST HAM! Lanzini puts the home side in front!
    • 33'
West Ham tails are now well and truly up as they go in search of another goal. Moses nicks the ball from Galloway and tries to start an attack. The move ends up with Carroll getting his head to a Lanzini cross but he can't direct it on target.
    • 34'
      J. McCarthy is yellow-carded.
    • 35'
McCarthy has become the first player to be cautioned this afternoon and it was a pretty easy decision for the referee. It was an over zealous tackle in  midfield on Payet. The Everton midfielder might argue that he won the ball but he went through the West Ham man to get it.
    • 37'
Barkley whips in a devillish delivery from a freekick on the right hand side for Everton. Kone flicks it towards goal but it is deflected out of play for a corner. Barkley also takes this set piece and Funes Mori climbs highest to connect with it but his header is off target.
    • 39'
The Toffees are looking fairly secure when the ball is in central areas but whenever the Irons get it wide to the likes of Moses and Lanzini they look vulnerable. From an Everton point of view it is imperative that they don't concede again before half time.
    • 41'
Almost half a chance for first Barkley and then Kone. The ball sat up invitingly about twenty yards out for the England international but surprisingly the Everton no.20 declined the opportunity to shoot and instead  tried to pick out his teammate.
    • 43'
      G R. Lukaku Assist Deulofeu
    • 43'
      The assist came from Deulofeu.
    • 43'
Payet gives it away in midfield and Deulofeu releases Lukaku through on goal with a simply wonderful through ball that splits the defence. Lukaku races onto it before rounding Adrian and tucking it into the back of the net with his trusty left foot. Game on!
    • 43'
1-1! EVERTON equalise and it is Romelu Lukaku, who always scores against West Ham. Out of nowhere we are all square.
    • 45'
Everton get us going again. The Toffees will be kicking towards where their fans are situated in the second half.
    • 45'
OVER! The Hammers look for an immediate response but Lanzini screws his right footed shot over the bar.
    • 47'
Concern amongst the West Ham faithful and management as Andy Carroll walks away rather gingerly after a coming together with Gareth Barry. Given his horrendous injury record in recent times, it is no wonder there is genuine worry everytime he goes down.
    • 49'
Payet trudges off the field and goes straight down the tunnel and is replaced by Enner Valencia. The West Ham playmaker seemed to be struggling after being on the receiving end of a heavy tackle from McCarthy. That is a real blow to the home side as Payet has been so instrumental so far this season.
    • 50'
      SI E. Valencia SO Deulofeu
    • 50'
      D. Payet is done for the day. E. Valencia is his replacement.
    • 51'
The introduction of Valencia hasn't immediately signalled a change of shape for West Ham, despite the fact that he would probably describe himself as a striker by trade. The Hammers are continuing with their preferred 4-2-3-1 formation and Valencia will play in behind Carroll for the time being at l
    • 53'
The half time interval seems to have come at the right time for West Ham who have regrouped well since the restart. Everton on the otherhand have rather struggled to regain their rhythm in the opening exchanges of the second half.
    • 55'
West Ham cleverly work a corner short and it gives Victor Moses the chance to cut in onto his left foot from the right wing. Unfortunately, for the Hammers his shot goes out for a throw in. One to forget for Nigerian international there.
    • 57'
Everton are trying to get a foothold in the game but they are being far too sloppy in possession at the moment. No sooner do they win it back do they give it away again. Martinez will want to see his players take far greater care on the ball.
    • 59'
Ramiro Funes Mori is cautioned by the referee.
    • 59'
Moses yet again races down the right wing but it stopped in tracks by a wild tackle from Funes Mori who hacks him down and gives the referee no other option but to produce the yellow card.
    • 61'
If the pattern of the game continues in this way you can't imagine it will be too long before Martinez freshens things up with a substitution or two. Kone has been very quiet in this second half. Deulofeu has been electric at times this afternoon but needs to see more of the ball.
    • 63'
SHOT! Lanzini drops his shoulder on the left wing and dips inside onto his favoured right foot. The winger has a crack and the ball flashes past Tim Howard's near post.
    • 64'
      SI K. Mirallas SO Deulofeu
    • 64'
      A. Koné is replaced with K. Mirallas.
    • 65'
Slight delay in proceedings as Enner Valencia receives some treatment after a strong but perfectly fair challenge inside the Everton penalty box by Seamus Coleman. It doesn't look good for the Ecuadorian and I'm not sure he'll be able to continue. Mauro Zarate is preparing himself to enter the fray.
    • 67'
Valencia is stretched off the pitch and Zarate will look to make a match winning impact from the subs bench.
    • 69'
      SI M. Zárate SO Deulofeu
    • 69'
      M. Zárate enters the game and replaces E. Valencia.
    • 69'
Deulofeu has been a constant bright spark for the visitors today but you have to give Cresswell tremendous credit for sticking manfully to his task all game. The injuries and substitutions have rather disrupted the flow of this match in the last few minutes. Let's hope there can be a grandstand fini
    • 71'
CLOSE! Winston Reid towers above everyone else in the box to meet Mark Noble's corner but the defender's header zips over the crossbar, much to the relief of Tim Howard. Not too far away there.
    • 73'
Everton for the first time in a while string a succession of passes together. Ross Barkley holds up the play before bringing Funes Mori into the game. The centre back then, for reasons unknown, decides to take a shot on from at least thirty yards out that goes comfortably over the bar. Bizarre decis
    • 75'
Deulofeu looks to take the fight to the opposition by going on the outside rather than cutting inside on the occasion. The young Spaniard forces a corner, that Barkley takes - it is flicked on at the near post but Adrian is alive to the situation and plucks the ball away from Lukaku.
    • 77'
Those injuries to Payet and Valencia have rather rocked West Ham and they have found hard to get going again since Zarate came on. They have lost all the momentum they had built up at the start of this half.
    • 79'
It is now Everton who look the more settled of the two teams. If there is to be a winner you would fancy it would be the visitors at this stage. Hammers fans will be mindful that there was a last minute winner from Lukaku in the corresponding fixture last season.
    • 81'
Martinez now decides that Deulofeu's race is run and opts to make a rather like-for-like swap by bringing on Aaron Lennon in his place. As an ex-Spurs player Lennon doesn't receive the warmest of welcomes from the West Ham fans.
    • 83'
      SI A. Lennon SO Deulofeu
    • 83'
      A. Lennon enters play, replacing Deulofeu.
    • 83'
Andy Carroll has largely been an observer in the second half and you wonder whether Bilic is brave enough to replace his sides no.9 at this late stage or if he'll throw on someone like Jelavic to join him? It's stick or twist time now.
    • 84'
SAVE! Jenkinson intercepts the ball and then drives forward from right back. Space opens up in front of him but his shot is straight at Tim Howard.
    • 86'
CLOSE! SO CLOSE! Lukaku stabs the ball towards goal from about six or seven yards out but the ball skids past Adrian's near post. Brendan Galloway delivered a decent cross from the left and the big Belgian forward did very well to get across his man.
    • 87'
      SI N. Jelavić SO Deulofeu
    • 87'
      N. Jelavić enters play, replacing A. Carroll.
    • 88'
Former Everton striker Nikica Jelavic does indeed come on for Andy Carroll for the remaining minutes. Can the Croatian striker be the hero?
    • 90'
We will have five minutes of injury time to be added on at the end of this match.
