    • KICK OFF
    • HALF TIME
    • 45'
HALF-TIME! Bobby Madley calls time on an enthralling first period in South Wales. Stoke leading 1-0 thanks to Bojan's third-minute penalty.
    • EXTRA TIME
    • 90'
FULL-TIME! And indeed it is, as referee Madley blows the final whistle. A poor game, in truth, but Stoke just about deserved the victory - their fourth in a row in all competitons.
    • 90'
Swansea running out of time now, but still they try to play it out from the back. Shelvey eventually goes long to Gomis, but the Frenchman is flagged offside. That could be it for Monk’s men.
    • 0'
Well, that's it from me - Patric Ridge - for today. After an end-to-end first half, the game stagnated somewhat after the interval. Swansea never really threatened Stoke's goal, and Monk has some work to do in order to get his side back to winning ways. Until next time, goodbye!
    • 0'
On the other hand, that triumph is Stoke's first over Swansea for over 20 years. By far from the most convincing victory of the Mark Hughes era, but you won't hear too many complaints from the fans, with their side having moved up from 20th to 11th in the space of three league fixtures.
    • 0'
Swansea were poor throughout, and are now without a win in six games. The loss also brings to an end their unbeaten run in the league, and sees them drop down to 14th in the standings.
    • 0'
A look again at Butland's mistake, and the youngster was certainly lucky to escape at least a booking for his last-ditch tackle on Ayew. His studs were high, and over the top of the ball. Dangerous.
    • 0'
There's still work to do for both managers at the Liberty, but Garry Monk will be particularly disappointed with his side’s display - especially that of Gomis, who has been largely anonymous up top.
    • 0'
A fantastic start for Stoke, then, but both sides have been wasteful in possession, as well as been slack in defence. Jack Butland was lucky to get away with a loose touch in his own area, while the visitors could have gone further ahead had Joselu's ambitious over-head kick found the corner.
    • 0'
Both sets of players making their way out onto the pitch now, with just moments until kick off.
    • 0'
Swansea forward Gomis netted in each of Swansea's opening four games of the season this term, but has not scored since. And the odds may be stacked against him today, with Jack Butland, fresh from his first competitive game for England’s senior side, having been in fantastic form since replacing Asm
    • 0'
Swansea won the corresponding fixture 2-0 last season, helping them hold off Stoke to finish 8th in the league. But both side's have had stuttering starts to the campaign this time around.
    • 0'
Likewise, there’s two changes for Stoke, with Mark Hughes drafting in Joselu and the fit-again Shaqiri in the places of Diouf and Walters respectively.
    • 0'
So two changes from Garry Monk, as he brings in youngster Barrow - just the 15th different player to start for Swansea in the league this term - and Cork in midfield. Swansea are without a win in five games across all competitions, and will be looking for a return to form tonight.
    • 0'
Stoke Subs: Haugaard, Muniesa, Wilson, Van Ginkel, Afellay, Ireland, Crouch.
    • 0'

The teams are in at the Liberty. Several changes from both managers, here…
    • 0'
Hello ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to our LIVE text coverage of this Premier League match-up between Swansea City and Stoke City at the Liberty Stadium. I'm Patric Ridge, and I'll be guiding you through all the action tonight!
    • 1'
KICK-OFF! Swansea, who are one of only three Premier League teams unbeaten at home this term, get the first-half underway at the Liberty!
    • 3'
GOOOOAAALL! Composed finish by Bojan, who fires the ball high into the right-corner. What a start for the visitors!
    • 3'
PENALTY! Stoke have a spot-kick just three minutes in! Began swerves into the box, and goes down under pressure from Williams, with Bobby Madley wasting no time in awarding the foul.
    • 4'
      Penalty goal scored by Bojan!
    • 6'
CLOSE AGAIN. Stoke almost make it two immediately from kick-off, Pieters playing in Joselu, who can’t apply a finish. Swansea in tatters here!
    • 9'
Well what a fantastic start to proceedings for Hughes’ men, who are in search of their third-successive league win. Swansea have steadied the ship somewhat, but it is obvious that early goal has rattled the hosts.
    • 12'
Swansea maintain possession well in Stoke’s half, but Shelvey’s incisive through ball is miss-controlled by Gomis.
    • 14'
Shelvey standing over a free-kick now, and he shoots… but his effort sails well over the bar.
    • 15'
Stoke win the ball back on the edge of the area and break swiftly, only for Adam to concede possession to Barrow, who fins Shelvey. The England man feeds Gomis, who is fouled on the turn by Cameron.
    • 17'
CHANCE! Swansea take the free-kick quickly, working it to Cork. The former Southampton midfielder loops in a cross towards Gomis, but the Frenchman can’t direct his header on goal.
    • 18'
LUCKY! A heart in mouth moment for Butland there, who takes an atrocious touch which Ayew almost latches onto, but the Stoke keeper manages to claw the ball to safety, with Madley ignoring Shelvey’s appeals for a free-kick.
    • 20'
Butland atones for that error somewhat, doing well to hang on to Shelvey’s rasping drive. The midfielder has another attempt on goal from a free-kick moments later, but his effort is easily blocked by the wall.
    • 23'
It’s certainly being an end-to-end start at the Liberty. Stoke look to be in control momentarily, but Pieters slips on the ball, and Gomis is almost able to capitalise. The visitors fortunate again there.
    • 25'
Arnautovic must be getting close to a caution here! The winger kicks at the heels of Barrow, and receives his second warning in the space of a few minutes from the referee.
    • 28'
NEARLY! A spectacular effort by Joselu, who almost finds the top corner with an audacious bicycle kick after latching onto Shaqiri’s pass following patient build-up play from Hughes’ side.
    • 30'
Fantastic combination play between Bojan and Shaqiri almost leads to an attempt on goal, but Williams intercepts well. Swansea pile forward, with Barrow winning a throw-in.
    • 32'
A break in play now as Ayew receives some treatment in the Stoke area. The Ghana forward eventually gets to his feet and hobbles over to the sidelines… for the time being, at least.
    • 35'
Arnautovic drives Srtoke forward, finding Joselu who holds it up well. It is switched out to Johnson, who plays a one-two with Shaqiri, but can only drag his shot wide after bursting into the penalty area.
    • 37'
Great play from Stoke! Whelan finds Arnautovic with a pin-point pass. The Austrian cuts inside and tees up Adam, but the former Liverpool man blasts his effort wide. Unlucky!
    • 39'
Sloppy stuff by Swansea, with the hosts unable to clear their lines under pressure from Stoke’s front-line. Fernandez eventually knocks it clear, and Ayew does well to win a throw in to relieve some of the pressure.
    • 40'
Monetro does superbly down the left, twisting and turning before threading it through to the over-lapping Taylor. The full-back hangs up a decent cross, but Gomis had checked his run and is unable to latch on to it. Better from Swansea, though.
    • 41'
      A. Williams is yellow-carded.
    • 41'
The first card of the game, now, as Williams goes into the book for a high-arm on Joselu. The Wales skipper was rather unfortunate, there.
    • 44'
Ayew bursts into space on the left, cutting back onto his right side before looping in a cross to the back post. Gomis leaps, but Pieters holds him off well.
    • 45'
      E. Pieters gets yellow.
    • 45'
Shaqiri weaves his way into the box at the other end, but his shot is blocked. Barrow counters for Swansea, only to be held back by Pieters - the Dutchman becoming the first Stoke player to go into the referee’s book.
    • 46'
KICK-OFF! No changes for either side at the start of the second half, as Stoke get us up and running.
    • 47'
Shaqiri should have done better there after being played in by Johnson, but the former Bayern Munich and Inter winger spooned his effort over the crossbar.
    • 49'
A slack pass from Gomis sees another promising Swansea move break down. The hosts get it back, however, only for Taylor to give it away out on the left. Very unlike Monk’s side.
    • 51'
Adam does well to cut out Fernandez’ pass. The Scotsman surges forward, picking his head up and finding Arnautovic, who in turn sets up Shaqiri, but again he shoots wide.
    • 52'
Row Z! Dreadful from Gomis, who turns away from Cameron well before inexplicably deciding to shoot from at least 30 yards out, with the ball nestling into the crowd.
    • 54'
Shelvey attempts to find the bottom corner from the edge of the area, but his tame strike dribbles wide. He makes up for it with a sumptuous ball over the top to Montero, but the winger is outmuscled by Johnson.
    • 55'
Again Swansea give it away and again Stoke counter, only for Bojan to return the further to the hosts. Slack play from both sides in the fledgling stages of the second half.
    • 57'
      J. Shelvey receives a yellow card.
    • 57'
OFFSIDE! Arnautovic thought he had nudged Stoke further ahead after tapping in from Pieters’ cross, but the offside flag was up. Stoke were unlucky there, but Pieters delayed the pass for a second too long.
    • 58'
POST! So unlucky from Shelvey! Just a minute after picking up a booking, Shelvey rattles the post with a fantastic effort from a tight angle. That has livened the home crowd up!
    • 59'
SI G. Sigurðsson SO M. Barrow
    • 59'
SI Sung-Yong Ki SO M. Barrow
    • 59'
      J. Cork is done for the day. Sung-Yong Ki is his replacement.
    • 59'
      M. Barrow is replaced with G. Sigurðsson.
    • 59'
Two changes now from Monk, as he throws on attacking duo Ki and Sigurdsson, both of whom have featured prominently for their national sides over the recent international fixtures.
    • 61'
Shelvey’s chance is the first time Swansea have manages to get in behind Stoke so far tonight, and Monk will be hoping Ki and Sigurdsson can provide that extra bit of quality in the final third.
    • 63'
Great work from Montero, who finally manages to shirk off the challenge of Johnson to cross in towards Gomis. The striker cannot make contact, but the ball falls to Taylor, who can only sky his effort high over the bar.
    • 65'
Stoke win their first corner of the game now… Shaqiri whips it in, and Gomis has to be alert to nudge it wide for a second corner, which is then collected well by Fabianksi.
    • 66'
      X. Shaqiri is yellow-carded.
    • 66'
Yellow card for Shaqiri after the Switzerland playmaker pushes Taylor to the ground. Swansea loop the resulting free-kick into the box, but Shelvey’s goal-bound effort is well blocked.
    • 67'
Brilliant defending from Wollscheid! The German centre back stands up strong against Gomis, not allowing the former Lyon man to turn and get his shot away from close range.
    • 69'
CLOSE! Delightful play from Stoke as Shaqiri dinks it into the path of Arnautovic. The winger beats Fabianski to it, but he can’t direct his chip on target.
    • 70'
SI M. van Ginkel SO M. Barrow
    • 70'
      M. van Ginkel enters the game and replaces C. Adam.
    • 70'
WOW! That was close! Sigurdsson has looked lively since his introduction, and he almost drew Swansea level with a curling long-range strike there. Butland was beaten all-ends-up, but the shot drifted just wide of the upright.
    • 73'
Monk is cutting a frustrated figure here. Swansea have dominated since Ki and Sigurdsson came on, but they are still yet to test Butland, with Stoke looking a threat on the counter.
    • 75'
SI I. Afellay SO M. Barrow
    • 75'
      I. Afellay comes on for M. Arnautović.
    • 75'
Stoke substitute now, as former Barcelona winger Ibrahim Afellay replaces Arnautovic, who has played well today.
    • 75'
Ki plays an incisive pass into the feet of Sigurdsson, who links up with Gomis to get into the box, but Stoke captain Whelan is on hand to intercept. Terrific defending by the Irishman!
    • 78'
Poor from Montero, who finds a Stoke defender with a pass despite having several teammates in his vicinity. Swansea regain possession though, with Stoke sitting deep as they look content to try and defend their lead.
    • 79'
SI S. Ireland SO M. Barrow
    • 79'
Bojan is replaced with S. Ireland.
    • 80'
      SI Éder SO M. Barrow
    • 80'
      A. Ayew is done for the day. Éder is his replacement.
    • 80'
Another Stoke change now, as goalscorer Bojan makes way for Stephen Ireland. The one-time Barcelona prodigy hasn’t been at his best tonight, but his well-taken goal is the difference so far. Monk also makes his final substitution, with Eder replacing Ayew.
    • 82'
Swansea maintain control, but their build-up play is lethargic. ireland nips into intercept Fernandez’ sloppy pass, and Stoke attempt to counter again.
    • 84'
Free-kick! Good work from Eder, who shrugs off two Stoke defenders before turning towards goal. He is brought down by Van Ginkel, but Sigurdsson’s delivery is cleared by Cameron.
    • 86'
PENALTY APPEALS! Gomis takes a tumble after a collision with Johnson, but the referee rightly waives away his appeals for a penalty. Swansea win it back through Montero, but the Ecuadorian crosses straight into the gloves of Butland.
    • 87'
Gomis finally gets in-behind Stoke’s back-line, turning on the ball to tee up Eder, but the Portuguese skews his low strike well wide.
    • 89'
There’s really no indication of Swansea restoring parity as we approach the closing moments… though as I write this, Ki latches onto Montero’s cross from the left… but his header is no where near the target.
    • 90'
The fourth official indicates a minimum of three minutes of stoppage time, as Swansea attack again through Montero. His shot is blocked, and Stoke are able to clear.
