    • 45'
The resulting set-piece bounces around the West Ham penalty area before falling at the feet of McArthur, but the substitute's low strike from 20 yards out is blocked well by Tomkins.
    • 90'
McArthur battles well with Jenkinson on the left flank deep inside the West Ham half of the pitch, and, as a result, he earns himself a throw-in that buys them much-needed time as they look to run the clock down.
    • 90'
Downing cuts inside from the right flank before threading a lovely through ball into the path of Kouyate, but the Senegalese midfielder's first touch is poor and ends up sending the ball out of play for a goal kick.

The victory temporarily moves Palace up to 12th place in the table, two points ahead of Everton, whilst West Ham, who are now without a win in their last five Premier League games, stay in eighth place, just marginally in front of Swansea.

What a win that is for Palace, who thoroughly deserve all three points. Alan Pardew's side were excellent at both ends of the pitch, with Puncheon and Murray constantly causing the hosts a plethora of problems in front of goal. Even after the aforementioned striker's sending off, the visitors looked

It was a great start to the game from West Ham, who easily looked the better of the two sides in the opening moments, but Palace slowly but surely started to impress and, as a result, they head into the half-time break with a well-deserved one-goal lead. Despite there being an element of luck about

As for Palace, they have looked far better under the tutelage of new manager Alan Pardew, who has guided his side to three victories in their last six games. Despite last weekend's tough clash away to Arsenal ending in a 2-1 defeat, the Eagles currently lie in 13th place in the table, five points cl

It's been a tough month for West Ham, who head into this afternoon's game without a win in their last four Premier League clashes. Whilst only one of those - last month's 2-0 defeat away to Liverpool - ended in a loss for the east London club, their inability to find an 11th victory of the season is

Good afternoon and welcome to our live text commentary of today's Premier League clash between West Ham United and Crystal Palace. My name is Ben Cullimore and I will be keeping you up to date with all of the action from Upton Park.
    • 1'
And we're off! West Ham get us underway, attacking from right to left.
    • 2'
Cresswell immediately bursts down the left flank before trying to square the ball to Sakho, but it's hit slightly behind the Senegalese striker and can only find Delaney on the edge of the penalty area.
    • 3'
And now Bolasie sprints down the left wing before earning the visitors an early corner. It's sent out to Mutch on the edge of the box, taking the West Ham defence completely by surprise, but the midfielder's attempted header towards the penalty spot is comfortably dealt with by the hosts.
    • 5'
Valencia and Ward battle for the ball near the corner flag on the left flank, with the Ecuadorian twisting and turning before he's eventually brought down by the Palace defender, resulting in a free kick for the hosts.
    • 6'
The free kick is whipped towards the near post by Noble, but Murray does well to head it out of play for a corner. The resulting set-piece is then sent towards a similar position, but this time it's Speroni who rises high to cut out the danger.
    • 8'
Kelly embarks on a marauding run forward towards the left-hand side of the West Ham penalty area before eventually firing a low cross off Noble and out for another corner.
    • 9'
The resulting set-piece is sent deep towards the far post where it finds the head of Dann, but the centre-back's looping header fails to trouble Adrian and flies over the top of the crossbar.
    • 10'
Bolasie holds the ball up well on the edge of the West Ham penalty area before twisting and teeing up Puncheon, but the midfielder's low cross is poorly hit and easily dealt with by Reid, who then thumps the ball back towards the halfway line.
    • 12'
Tomkins is brought down by Bolasie, and West Ham are awarded a free kick just inside their own half of the pitch as a result. The defender fires it into the Palace box, but the hosts are just about able to deal with the danger.
    • 13'
What a strike by Cresswell! A poor pass from Puncheon gives the ball away in a dangerous position, allowing the West Ham left-back to push forward down the wing before unleashing a brilliant shot that curls just over the top of the crossbar.
    • 14'
West Ham patiently pass the ball around just outside of the Palace penalty area, with Valencia and Sakho linking up particularly well. The ball eventually finds its way into the feet of Noble, who is then chopped down by a poor challenge from Puncheon just a few yards outside of the box.
    • 15'
Noble hits the crossbar! He fires an excellent strike from the free kick that beats Speroni before ricocheting off the crossbar and out of play. What a goal that would have been!
    • 17'
It's all West Ham at the moment. Noble picks up the ball again before sending a lofted pass over the top of the Palace defence and into the path of Valencia, but it's slightly overhit and is easily cut out by Speroni.
    • 18'
Zaha is brought down from behind by Cresswell, resulting in a free kick for Palace near the halfway line. Puncheon tries to send it long to Mutch but gets it horribly wrong, firing the ball past his fellow midfielder and out of play for a goal kick.
    • 20'
After a frantic few moments, the pace of the game has slowed down somewhat, with both sides battling for possession in the middle of the pitch.

Good play on the right flank from Sakho results in a corner for West Ham, but the hosts are unable to make it count and Palace deal with the danger well, firing the ball back towards the halfway line.
    • 28'
After being pushed back by the Palace midfield, Downing receives the ball in acres of space in the middle of the pitch. He skips past Mutch before trying to play a chipped pass towards Sakho, but it's poorly hit and bounces out of play for a goal kick.
    • 29'
Great play again from Sakho! The Senegalese striker breaks away quickly before firing a fierce strike from 30 yards out that takes a wicked deflection and flies out for yet another West Ham corner.
    • 30'
Again, the corner is poor and the Palace defence are able to deal with the initial danger. It's only cleared as far as Noble, however, but the captain's strike is woeful and harmlessly bounces out for a Palace throw-in near the corner flag on the left flank.
    • 31'
Fantastic chance for Valencia! Downing skips past Kelly twice before sending a dangerous deep cross towards the back post. It meets the head of the Ecuadorian, but his effort ends up missing its intended target by a few agonising inches.
    • 32'
And now Murray goes close! Palace break away quickly from the restart, with Puncheon embarking on a marauding run forward. Once again, he sets up his fellow midfielder with a good through-ball, but the striker's low shot is saved well by the feet of Adrian.

It's all happening inside the West Ham penalty area! A Palace corner causes all sorts of trouble for the hosts, bouncing around the box before finally dropping to Kelly at the near post.
