    • KICK OFF
    • 90'
That's it! Kevin Friend sounds his whistle bringing an end to the day's action at Turf Moor.
    • 90'
West Ham waste some time in attack, and Burnley finally win it back. Amalfitano does very well to track back, sliding into the feet of Trippier to prevent a cross, conceding a corner.
    • 90'
Wonderful block by Nolan! Burnley win a corner, and after yet another scramble, it comes out to Boyd. He squares up to goal and lets fly, but the substitute fearlessly lunges in to block the attempt.

I am Alex Moretto and I would like to thank you all for joining me here today. Good bye!

FULL TIME: BURNLEY 1-3 WEST HAM. The hosts will have plenty of positives to draw from this match, especially in attack, where they produced a number of chances. In the end, the visitors still proved much more clinical in attack, taking advantage of their opportunities to secure all three points, the

HALF TIME: BURNLEY 0-0 WEST HAM. Plenty of chances for both sides, but this one remains scoreless as we head into the break. The hosts have been the better side thus far, creating opportunities for themselves as a result of some wonderful build up play, but West Ham have threatened on the counter.
    • 0'
STAT ATTACK: This is the 200th Premier League appearance with West Ham for Mark Noble. He is just three shy of Steve Potts for a share of the club record.

The teams have been announced, so let us have ourselves a look at the starting line-ups:
    • 0'
West Ham look an entirely different side to the one that nearly had Sam Allardyce sacked last season. Some shrewd summer signings have really added tooth to an otherwise lifeless attack, averaging barely over a goal per game last season. The potential of this group knows no limits, it will just be a

The spirit of this Burnley team is rivaled only by that of their manager, Sean Dyche. Unfortunately for this irrepressible bunch, that is not enough to keep them in the Premier League. Just seven games into the new season and their deficiencies have jumped to the forefront. Goals have been about as

Hello Premier League fans around the world, and welcome to Lancashire! Turf Moor is our venue today, as struggling Burnley host a surging West Ham squad. I am Alex Moretto and I will be your in-game host, guiding you through the match LIVE as it happens!
    • 1'
Burnley kick-off and we are underway at Turf Moor! The hosts, moving left to right, are in their crimson home kits, with the visitors sporting light blue tops.
    • 3'
West Ham win an early corner, and they have proven to be very dangerous from set pieces this season, as is usually the case with a Sam Allardyce managed side. The ball is delivered into a dangerous area, and headed straight up into the air, making for an easy catch from Heaton.
    • 5'
Mark Noble picks up a ball in midfield and runs at the defence. He plays it wide for Jenkinson, who crosses in for Sakho. Heaton does well to apply pressure on the striker to collect.
    • 7'
STUNNING STRIKE! Kieran Trippier sends a ball into the centre from the right. George Boyd is there, and chests down before lashing a half-volley towards goal. He has Adrian well beaten, but strikes the underside of the bar! Incredibly unlucky from the midfielder.
    • 9'
BURNLEY LEAD! But the flag is up for an offside, so it will not count! Absolutely sublime run from Danny Ings, who beats two defenders on his way into the area, before cutting onto his right. He really should be scoring there, but Adrian makes a fine diving save. Jutkiewicz is there to tap in the re
    • 11'
Important tackle from Collins! Jutkiewicz gets on the end of a pass and looks to split the defence and run in on goal, but the centre-back lunges in well to dispossess.
    • 13'
Dominant stuff from Burnley! They are full of confidence at the moment and passing it around superbly well in the final third. Boyd is having plenty of success drifting into the centre, while Kightly has found plenty of space along the left, giving Jenkinson fits in the early going.
    • 15'
STAT ATTACK: Burnley, along with Newcastle, are the only two teams yet to record a victory this season. The Clarets last Premier League victory came in May 2010.
    • 17'
Boyd makes a nice run into space along the right and sends in a cross for Jutkiewicz. The striker makes muffed contact, under pressure from Collins, and the effort loops over the bar.
    • 19'
Back come West Ham and they get men forward in numbers. Enner Valencia, certainly never lacking for confidence, lashes a shot from 40 yards out, which sails well over the bar, earning a teasing applause from the Turf Moor crowd.
    • 21'
Another strong move from Burnley, and the ball is played into the box, but it just will not sit still for a shot from Jutkiewicz! The hosts keep possession and Kightly wins a free kick to the left of the penalty area.
    • 23'
Kightly delivers, and it is a dangerous ball played towards the far post, but Adrian is out to punch behind for a corner, which is dealt with by West Ham. They break on the counter and Valencia gets into the area, but his attempted layoff for Sakho is too soft as Shackell intercepts.
    • 25'
Boyd does well to win and keep possession for Burnley along the right. He switches the play and Kightly tries to thread in a pass for Ings, but some tough defending from Collins sees him clear the danger away.
    • 27'
SO CLOSE TO THE OPENER! West Ham attack well down the left, as Cresswell makes a fine overlapping run. He sends a fantastic ball in for Sakho, but the striker heads wide from just a few yards out at the near post.
    • 29'
For such an open game, it is a real shock this match remains scoreless after half an hour. Chances have not been hard to come by from either side, and there appears no signs of that stopping with either side giving away plenty of space in their own end.
    • 31'
BURNLEY NEARLY TAKE THE LEAD! George Boyd, who has been exceptional in this first half, dances up and down the right flank before sending a cross into the centre. Jutkiewicz rises high to meet it, but heads just wide! Kightly was waiting unmarked at the far post, and if he only had said something, h
    • 33'
OFF THE WOODWORK! Brilliant stuff from Stewart Downing and West Ham, who have looked their most threatening on the counter. The winger weaves his way past two defenders on the right and cuts onto his left foot for a shot, beating Heaton but not the post!
    • 34'
      W. Reid receives a yellow card.
    • 35'
Winston Reid with a very cynical challenge on George Boyd, as the midfielder had him beat, looking to break on a real promising looking counter. The foul earns the centre-back a yellow card, the first of the match handed out by Kevin Friend.
    • 37'
STAT ATTACK: The last time these two played a Premier League match at Turf Moor was back in February 2010, where the hosts came away with a 2-1 victory thanks to goals from David Nugent and Danny Fox.
    • 39'
Lovely vision from Boyd! He is causing all sorts of problems down the right, this time cutting it into the middle before sending a back heel pass through for Jutkiewicz. Cresswell recovers, however, showing his strength to shield off the striker and win a goal kick.
    • 41'
Amalfitano returns the favor! The West Ham midfielder shows some skill of his own, sending a back heel flick on for Sakho. The striker has Valencia to his right, but tries to take Duff on himself. A heavy touch allows the centre-back to recover as the chance goes begging.
    • 43'
THAT HAD TO BE IT! Boyd makes a wonderful run, which Arfield is able to pick out. He is in three against one, and sends a ball across for Jutkiewicz who cannot get the vital touch and turn it in! It is the best chance of many Burnley have had in this half, but still nothing to show for it.
    • 45'
ARFIELD! Lovely build up from Burnley! It has been a real joy to watch through the first half. The Scotsman takes a pass and cuts into the centre, letting fly from the top of the box, but a deflection takes the sting out of the shot and Adrian makes a comfortable stop.
    • 46'
West Ham get the second half underway! No changes to tell you about at the break.
    • 48'
It has been a much more cagey start to this second half, a polar opposite from the wide open match we saw in the opening 45 minutes. Both teams looked to be going for it in the first half, but it appears now as though neither want to be the first to concede.
    • 49'
      G D. Sakho Assist A. Cresswell
    • 49'
The assist came from A. Cresswell.
    • 49'
Sakho is the scorer, but this was all on Cresswell, who sends in a superb cross from the left that the striker is able to head home with ease from in close.
    • 49'
    • 51'
STAT ATTACK: Diafra Sakho has now scored in five consecutive league matches for West Ham, tying Carlton Cole as the only player in Hammers history to do so.
    • 54'
      G E. Valencia Assist A. Cresswell
    • 54'
The assist came from C. Jenkinson.
    • 54'
It is a near identical goal, only flipped. This time the play develops along the right, and the other full-back, Carl Jenkinson, sends a picture perfect cross in for Sakho's striker partner Enner Valencia, who turns it home with an exceptional header into the top corner!
    • 54'
    • 56'
It is incredibly harsh on Burnley who could have been up 2-0 themselves at half time. They failed to convert their chances and now have been made to pay. The atmosphere at Turf Moor has changed drastically, as the traveling supporters from East London are the ones making the noise at the moment.
    • 58'
Enner Valencia gives way for West Ham in the first substitution of the match. The second goalscorer, who had a lengthy travel itinerary during the international break, comes off to a rowdy applause from the visiting supporters.
    • 59'
SI C. Cole SO A. Cresswell
    • 59'
      E. Valencia is replaced with C. Cole.
    • 59'
IS IT IN?! The game has come to life again! West Ham win a corner and Carlton Cole is there to meet it. His strong header is directed on goal, but cleared off the line!
    • 60'
      G G. Boyd Assist A. Cresswell
    • 60'
It is absolute chaos in the box, as a corner is whipped in to a dangerous area. There is a scramble for it and Adrian looks to have it, but somehow George Boyd comes out of the crowd with the ball, blasting home into an empty net!
    • 60'
    • 63'
OH MY! INGS NEARLY LEVELS THINGS! Trippier gets forward again and sends a wonderful ball of his own in for Ings. The striker meets it well, but his header glances inches wide of the far post! Turf Moor is shaking with all the noise now!
    • 65'
SI A. Barnes SO A. Cresswell
    • 65'
      A. Barnes comes on for L. Jutkiewicz.
    • 65'
Burnley make a switch, in an attempt to get some more pace up top, with Ashley Barnes replacing Lukas Jutkiewicz, who has been unable to convert his chances today.
    • 67'
West Ham win successive corners and Cole is getting his head to nearly everything at the moment! He turns it wide, however, as the chance goes begging. The Hammers have scored six goals from set-piece situations this season, the highest tally of any Premier League side.
    • 69'
STAT ATTACK: Last season West Ham dropped a Premier League high 20 points from winning positions.
    • 70'
      G C. Cole Assist A. Cresswell
    • 70'
      D. Sakho gave the assist.
    • 70'
It is their seventh set piece goal this season! The corner from Downing is met by Sakho, who heads back into the centre, where Cole leans in to meet it and head past Heaton.
    • 70'
    • 70'
The visitors looking comfortable and confident in possession once again. Amalfitano sends a ball in for Cole that is cleared, but only as far as Downing, whose shot is blocked by Trippier and behind for a corner.
    • 72'
DOWNING! Burnley get forward and win a corner. Adrian makes a save and starts West Ham on a break. Sakho's cross in is cleared, but Noble keeps it alive, laying it off for Downing. The midfielder unleashes a drive towards goal, but it narrowly misses at the far post!
    • 74'
STAT ATTACK: Stewart Downing has created 22 scoring chances this season, tied with Cesc Fabregas for most in the Premier League.
    • 76'
Burnley's fighting spirit is on display yet again, as they push forward to find a way back into this game. West Ham are defending well and their transition play is so strong, which is making a comeback look all the more unlikely.
    • 78'
CRESSWELL! West Ham sense blood, pushing forward to put the nail in the coffin. They keep the ball well in the attacking third, and Sakho meets a cross with an ambitious overhead kick. He slices it straight into the path of Cresswell, but he blasts his shot straight into the arms of Heaton.
    • 80'
Alex Song is down and in some pain after a coming together with Kightly. The replay shows the Burnley player got his leg up, but only made contact with the ball, which bounced back at Song, hitting him in the groin region.
    • 82'
Burnley make wholesale changes in a last desperate attempt to claw back and fight for a point. After giving away so much space early on, West Ham have really tightened up in defence, preventing the hosts from finding a way through.
    • 83'
SI K. Nolan SO A. Cresswell

    • 83'
      A. Song is replaced with K. Nolan.
    • 83'
      M. Kightly is replaced with N. Chalobah.
    • 84'
Chalobah makes his presence felt, shooting from outside the area, but failing to hit the target as some good Burnley possession is given away cheaply.
    • 86'
OFF THE BAR! Extremely unlucky from Burnley. Trippier again sends in a magnificent cross from the right, which Barnes meets at the far post. He opens up and just directs it towards goal with a side-footed volley, but it strikes the bar and cannons out!
    • 88'
STAT ATTACK: Burnley have held the lead for a grand total of three minutes this season, back in their opening match against Chelsea.
