    • KICK OFF

The performance of Lopes in the Lyon goal was the difference as he pulled off four world-class saves, and PSG will certainly see this as a missed opportunity. For now, I've been Tom Maston and thanks for joining me.
    • 0'
The final whistle blows, and Ibrahimovic's controversially retaken penalty means PSG leave Lyon with a point. The hosts remain two points ahead of Blanc's side and in pole position to win the Ligue 1 title.
    • 0'
The two teams are making their way back onto the field of play as we approach the second period. Can Lyon hang on to stretch their lead at the top or will PSG turn this one around? We're about to find out...
    • 0'
Despite only creating two chances, PSG really should have scored both, with Lopes making a fine save to deny Cavani before Luiz headed wide when it was easier to score. I'll be back in 10 minutes to see if the champions can find a way through this stubborn Lyon defence.
    • 0'
No stoppage time at the end of the first half and it is N'Jie's goal that separates the two teams as they head for their respective dressing rooms. PSG have dominated possession but have been unable to create more than two real chances, and Blanc will be asking for more cutting edge to his side in t

The two teams go through the usual pre-match niceties, and we are in for an enthralling 90 minutes. Can Lyon stretch their lead at the top of Ligue 1, or can PSG continue their superb form to go the summit themselves? We're about to find out...
    • 0'
The two teams have made their way into the tunnel and they are about to enter a cauldron of noise. The flags are flying, and the biggest match of the Ligue 1 season so far is just moments away...
    • 0'
There are now just five minutes until kick-off in Lyon, and the Stade de Gerland is beginning to fill up nicely. There should be an electric atmosphere as two of the biggest sides in France go head-to-head with a place at the top of the table on the line.
    • 0'
When these two sides met earlier in the season, a late Samuel Umtiti goal stole a point for Lyon after Edinson Cavani had given Blanc's side the lead. A similar result would certainly suit Fournier's side more this evening as they look to retain their place at the summit of Ligue 1.
    • 0'
PSG make just one change from the side that knocked Lille out of the Coupe de la Ligue in midweek. Salvatore Sirigu returns in goal in place of Nicolas Douchez. Ezequiel Lavezzi must again make do with a place on the bench.
    • 0'
Lyon remain without Ligue 1 top goalscorer Alexandre Lacazette, and it is Clinton N'Jie who is selected to partner Nabil Fekir up front. Elsewhere they make two further changes to their side, with Henri Bedimo and Lindsay Rose coming into the defence.
    • 0'
Paris Saint-Germain (4-3-3): Sirigu; Marquinhos, Silva, Luiz, Maxwell; Verratti, Motta, Matuidi; Lucas, Ibrahimovic, Cavani.
    • 0'
Lyon (4-3-1-2): Lopes; Jallet, Rose, Umtiti, Bedimo; Ferri, Gonalons, Tolisso; Gourcuff; N'Jie, Fekir.

Before we go any further, the two team line-ups have been announced ahead of kick-off in around 20 minutes...
    • 0'
Hubert Fournier's side, meanwhile, dropped points on their last outing as they were held to a 0-0 draw by Monaco. They remain on course for the title at present, and a win tonight would put them in pole position ahead of the run-in.
    • 0'
Les Parisiens have won their last six matches, and in doing so have cut the gap on both Lyon and Marseille above them to two and one point respectively. But a defeat here would leave them facing a very difficult task to overcome a five-point gap in the closing weeks of the season.

Hello and welcome to live coverage of the Ligue 1 encounter between Lyon and Paris Saint-Germain. Laurent Blanc's side could go top of the table with a win away at the leaders in what is one of the standout fixtures in French domestic football. I'm Tom Maston and I'll be guiding you through all the
    • 1'
The two teams are ready, and Paris Saint-Germain kick-off to get us underway...
    • 3'
PSG have been in possession pretty much since the first whistle, but a Matuidi cross that evaded everyone apart, they are yet to create anything of note in the final third.
    • 5'
Lyon come forward for the first time in the match, but Jallet's low cross from the right-hand side is not pulled back far enough and Sirigu can dive on the ball.
    • 7'
GOAL!? NO, OFFSIDE! PSG have the ball in the net as Ibrahimovic chests the ball down before rifling an effort into the roof of the net, but the flag is up for offside and his celebration is cut short.
    • 9'
Ibrahimovic almost gets in behind the Lyon defence again as Luiz hits a diagonal ball over the top, and Lopes did well to come off his line and collect the ball before dropping it and clearing as his momentum carried him out of his area.
    • 11'
OFF THE POST! So close for Lyon as Tolisso takes the ball down 25 yards from goal before hitting a speculative effort that evades Sirigu but bounces wide off the base of the post.
    • 12'
GREAT SAVE! Within seconds PSG go close down the other end as Ibrahimovic feeds Cavani, but Lopes does brilliantly to come off his line and divert the Uruguayan's effort behind. The Lyon defenders rush to congratulate their goalkeeper - that was a marvellous stop.
    • 14'
Luiz and Silva get into an almighty mess at the back, and PSG need Verratti to get back and make a covering challenge as Gourcuff runs onto the ball on the edge of the area.
    • 16'
The game is slowed down a little by Sirigu as he takes his time over a goal-kick, and after a frenetic start the players may well be happy for the short break to catch their breath.
    • 18'
Rose does well to carry the ball out of the Lyon defence and look for the forward run of Tolisso. Luiz comes across to deal with the danger this time.
    • 20'
Lyon are beginning to take control of the game in midfield, though PSG look the more threatening side in attack given the talents of their forward-thinking players.
    • 22'
JUST WIDE! PSG should lead, with Luiz missing a gilt-edged chance. A corner is swung in from the left, and after Cavani flicks it on at the near post, Luiz heads it wide with the goal gaping. Lyon very lucky to get away with that one.
    • 24'
Lyon are looking to get Jallet in down the right-hand side whenever they can, with the right-back looking as if he has the beating of Maxwell down that flank.
    • 26'
The game has entered a bit of a lull period, with PSG looking to be a bit more patient in getting the ball forward into their attacking trio. Lyon are more than happy to let them keep the ball in the middle of the pitch at present.
    • 28'
Fekir does well to get in front of Matuidi and draw a foul from the midfielder, meaning the hosts have a free-kick right on the corner of the area on the right-hand side. Can they create something of note?
    • 29'
After some shoving in the box, Gourcuff eventually whips it in, but Silva gets up highest to head it clear of danger. Chance missed for the home side.
    • 31'
      G C. N'Jie Assist N. Fekir
    • 31'
      N. Fekir provided the assist.
    • 31'
GOAL!!! N'JIE BREAKS THE DEADLOCK! Lyon get the breakthrough, and it is a really well-worked goal. Ferri's cross from the right is headed back into the middle by N'Jie. Fekir picks it up before playing a reverse pass back to his strikr partner, and the Cameroonian powers a shot past Sirigu. The home
    • 33'
The home fans are in fine voice now, and as it stands Lyon will go four points clear of Marseille at the top of Ligue 1 and five clear of PSG. Blanc's side need a response before the break you fancy.
    • 35'
Lyon have now gone 10 hours without conceding in Ligue 1, and if that record is extended to the end of tonght's match then Fournier's side will be in an enviable position at the top of the table tonight.
    • 37'
PSG have seen plenty of the ball since the home side took the lead, but as yet have not created anything of note. How Cavani and Luiz could come to rue their earlier missed chances come full-time.
    • 38'
Marquinhos does well to get to the byline down the right-hand side, but Matuidi is always leaning back and his shot ends up in the stands behind the goal.
    • 40'
N'Jie does well to bring the ball out of the sky before looking to race into the box, but Silva stands his ground well to force the ball out for a throw-in.
    • 42'
Luiz is being given no time whatsoever to dictate play from his defensive position, with Ferri and Fekir closing him down tirelessly whenever he picks up the ball around the halfway line.
    • 43'
      E. Cavani is cautioned by the referee.
    • 43'
Cavani becomes the first player to go into the book after showing dissent to the referee. The forward was penalised for a foul on Jallet, but did not need to react as he did.
    • 45'
Marquinhos cannot keep a ball out to the right-hand side in play, and it looks as if Lyon are going to go into the half-time break a goal to the good.
    • 46'
No changes for either side and Lyon kick-off to get us back underway...
    • 48'
No chances as yet for either side after the break, though Paris Saint-Germain have arguably had the better of things. Expect that to become a pattern in the second period.
    • 50'
GREAT SAVE! Lopes is at it again as he dives away to his left to push away Ibrahimovic's powerful header following Maxwell's left-wing cross. Superb stuff from the goalkeeper.
    • 52'
Matuidi finds space to swing in a cross this time, but with Ibrahimovic poised to head goalwards, Lopes flies off his line to palm the ball away to the edge of the area.
    • 54'
GREAT SAVE! Lopes just will not be beaten, and Ibrahimovic cannot believe it. Again Maxwell's cross finds the Sweden striker, and though he gets his header down, the goalkeeper gets across to his left to push the ball away from danger.
    • 56'
PSG are piling on the pressure now as Lucas carries the ball forward before shooting. His effort bounces up off Cavani, but Lopes watches it well and reacts quickly to catch above his head.
    • 58'
Lyon look to get the ball out of defence and relieve some of the pressure, but N'Jie cannot keep control of the ball as he looks to go around Luiz and the visitors have possession back.
    • 60'
BIG CHANCE! Yet again PSG create a chance down the left as Matuidi's low cross is sent in towards the near post where Cavani helps it on, but his shot is too weak and Lopes gets down well to hold on.
    • 61'
GOOD SAVE! It is the Lopes show here as he again foils PSG. Cavani gets in behind and pokes the ball goalwards, but the goalkeeper narrows the angle and parries the effort. He is putting in a wonderful performance here.
    • 63'
Lyon make the first change of the night as Ferri is replaced by Mvuemba in midfield. That is likely to try and half Maxwell's forward runs down the left-hand side.
    • 64'
SI A. Mvuemba SO N. Fekir
    • 64'
      J. Ferri is done for the day. A. Mvuemba is his replacement.
    • 65'
Lyon just cannot keep hold of the ball for more than a few seconds, and PSG are launching wave after wave of attacks. The hosts really need a second goal here, you feel.
    • 66'
PENALTY TO PSG! Again it comes down the left for the visitors as a cross is only half-cleared, and Fekir dives in on Verratti, leaving the referee no option but to point to the spot. Ibrahimovic steps up...
    • 67'
      N. Fekir receives a yellow card.
    • 68'
      S. Umtiti is yellow-carded.
    • 68'
SAVED! BUT THE REFEREE ORDERS A RETAKE! Drama here as Lopes keeps out the spot-kick, only for the officials to decide the goalkeeper was off his line, and Ibrahimovic will have a second chance to score from the spot...
    • 69'
      M. Gonalons goes into the referee's book.
    • 69'
GOAL!!! IBRAHIMOVIC LEVELS! The Lyon players and fans cannot believe it, but PSG and Ibrahimovic don't care as the striker sends Lopes the wrong way. Game on.
    • 71'
Lyon look to come forward and retake the lead straight away, but PSG are able to get it clear. The home side will be doing all they can to regain their advantage after the circumstances of Ibrahimovic's goal.
    • 73'
Lyon create their best chance of the second half as Fekir gets in behind, only for Marquinhos to make a superb challenge and force the ball behind with the striker about to pull the trigger.
    • 75'
PSG's intensity has dropped a little since their equaliser, with Lyon suddenly looking the more likely to score the third goal of the game. This could still go either way.
    • 76'
SI E. Lavezzi SO N. Fekir
    • 76'
Lucas is done for the day. E. Lavezzi is his replacement.
    • 76'
Blanc makes his first change of the night as Lucas is replaced by Lavezzi in what is a straight swap.
    • 78'
Cavani wins a free-kick around 30 yards from goal, and Ibrahimovic is lining this up. It would be a special effort if he found the net from here...
    • 79'
Ibrahimovic goes for power, but his strike is straight at the wall and Lyon can get the ball clear. Meanwhile Cabaye comes on to replace Cavani for the visitors.
    • 80'
SI Y. Cabaye SO N. Fekir
    • 80'
      Y. Cabaye enters play, replacing E. Cavani.
    • 81'
      Y. Cabaye receives a yellow card.
    • 81'
Despite a draw arguably being a better result for them than the visitors, Lyon look the most likely side to find a winner here as they push men forward in the closing stages.
    • 83'
SI Y. Benzia SO N. Fekir
    • 83'
      Y. Benzia enters play, replacing C. N'Jie.
    • 83'
Lyon make their second change of the evening as N'Jie makes way having scored his goal, and it is Benzia who is on in his place up front.
    • 85'
Marquinhos whips in a cross from the right-hand side looking for Ibrahimovic, but Rose gets up well to head clear. Neither side has given this one up yet.
    • 87'
Gourcuff whips in a corner that Sirigu does well to claw away before Mvuemba lines up a shot from the edge of the area but his effort is wild and flies wide of the post.
    • 88'
SI R. Ghezzal SO N. Fekir
    • 88'
      R. Ghezzal enters the game and replaces Y. Gourcuff.
    • 89'
PSG have upped the tempo as we approach the final minute of normal time, but they are yet to really test Lopes since their equalising goal from Ibrahimovic.
    • EXTRA TIME
    • 90'
Into the final minute of stoppage time, and the game is petering out towards a draw now.
    • 90'
We will have three minutes of stoppage time for either side to find a winning goal that could be so crucial in the title race...
