Lyon striker Bryan Bergougnoux has joined Toulouse on a four-year contract.
The 22-year-old frontman, who was voted Lyon's best player last January, played a total of 26 matches with the four-time French champions, including two games in the Champions League where he scored once.
The transfer of giant Norwegian hitman John Carew to the French champions has put Bergougnoux's position under threat and the youngster has moved to further his career.
The transfer fee is expected to be around 3.5million euros (A$5.5million).
Bergougnoux is Toulouse's fifth signing of the summer after midfielder Yacine Abdessadki (Strasbourg), striker Fode Mansare (Montpellier), defender Jeremy Mathieu (Sochaux) and Tunisian hitman Francileudo Santos (Sochaux).
