A report by FTBL has claimed Leeds are deep in talks with the A-League newcomers for a friendly match this July.
Leeds are already scheduled to play Manchester United at Perth's Optus Stadium on July 17 before taking on Western Sydney Wanderers three days later at their new Bankwest Stadium home on July 20.
Leeds are in a dogfight for Premier League promotion at the top of the Championship and could be set to end their 15 year exile from England's top flight.
The Marco Bielsa coached side have been the entertainers of the Championship this campaign and would be a great test for Western United ahead of their entry to the A-League next season.
The Western Melbourne based side was named as the A-League's 11th team in December and have since announced the signing of seven players including former Greece World Cup star Panagiotis Kone.
Western United will play their home games at Geelong's Kardina Park this season however it is unclear if a potential clash against Leeds would be held at the ground.
