Jair has arrived in Newcastle and will start training with the squad on Wednesday.
He will not take part in the Jets friendly match against Sydney FC in Sydney on Wednesday but could make his debut on September 29 in the preseason clash against Western Sydney Wanderers at Maitland Sportsground.
