Hannover signs Stindl

Hannover have confirmed the capture of midfielder Lars Stindl from second division side Karlsruher from the start of next season.

The 21-year-old has agreed on a three-year contract with the Bundesliga side and will move on a free transfer since his contract with Karlsruher expires at the end of June, making him a free agent.

Announcing the deal on Tuesday, Hannover confirmed the move will still go through should they be relegated to the second division at the end of the season.

The Reds currently occupy 16th place, which would leave it with a play-off match for a place in the top flight against the third-placed team in the second division should the situation remain the same come the end of the season.
