Glory, forced to line-up without injured star striker Sam Kerr, couldn't stop 23-year-old Californian Doniak as she fired her side to a 2-0 half time lead.
The pacy striker then capped off the win with a delightful left foot finish from the edge of the penalty area 15 minutes from full-time.
Perth struggled going forward without Kerr with Adelaide stifling the visitors attack.
A poor clearance from Adelaide captain Emma Checker ended up in the back of The Reds net at the start of the second stanza to give Perth hope.
However, Doniak's brilliance in the front third and some disciplined defending ensured Adelaide took home all three points for the first time this season.
