The Courier-Mail reports the Queensland State Government and event organisers are in final negotiations with Palace and West Ham with an announcement expected shortly.

It is believed the pre-season tournament will consist of three games taking place at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium and the newly constructed Queensland Country Bank Stadium in Townsville.

Each side will play each other once with Townsville expected to host Crystal Palace’s match against the Brisbane Roar while West Ham’s match against Palace is set for Suncorp Stadium

It is unclear where West Ham’s match against the Roar will take place.

It is the first time a Premier League club has played a match in Queensland since 2015 when the Roar took on Liverpool at Suncorp Stadium and Melbourne City went head to head with Manchester City on the Gold Coast.
