Australian goalkeeper Dean Bouzanis has reportedly signed a deal to play for Greek Super League club Aris.

Bouzanis was released by English Football League One club Oldham Athletic at the end of the 2012-2013 season, ending an English football journey that began when he impressed then-Liverpool manager Rafael Bentiz during a three-week training stint in 2007 and was signed for three years.

He spent loan stints at Sydney FC and Accrinngton Stanley before joining The Latics in 2011.

The 22 year-old had played a crucial role in Oldham's run to the fifth round of the FA Cup last season, pulling off a number of saves in the fourth round upset of his former club.

The World Game reported in May that Bouzanis - one of five players released by Oldham - was headed home to Sydney to look for a new club, a search that appears to be over, with media reports in Greece claiming Aris has completed a deal with the player, who represented Greece at U-19 level and Australia at U-20 and U-23 level.
