Eight-time Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt has landed in Sydney ahead of his 'indefinite training period' with Central Coast Mariners.
Bolt, 31, told reporters he was 'very serious' about aiming to win a contract with the A-League club, who finished with the wooden spoon last season.
"I want to play football and this is my opportunity," Bolt - who wore the club's scarf after flying in from Los Angeles - said.
"I've said all along this is for real and I'm here to show what I can do.
"I’m going to make the most of this great opportunity and I’m looking forward to making the fans proud."
