Aussies Abroad: Luongo scores, Kewell's Notts hammered in FA Cup

Massimo Luongo scored for Queens Park Rangers in their 3-2 win over Brentford in the Championship in what was a mixed day of action for Aussies players abroad.

Luongo tapped the ball home after a goalmouth scramble to make it 1-1, before helping his side to an eventual win in a five-goal thriller.

The victory sees QPR move into 10th place, Luongo has started every match so far for the Hoops.
Elsewhere in the Championship, Jackson Irvine played 90 minutes, and picked up a yellow card, in Hull's 3-3 draw away to Birmingham. Hull currently sit in the relegation zone on 16 points from 17 matches. 

Ryan Williams played 90 minutes, before being subbed off in injury time, in Rotherham's 1-1 draw with Blackburn. 

Mile Jedinak and Adam Federici remained on the bench for Aston Villa and Stoke City respectively, while it was a day to forget for defender James Meredith who came on in the 90th minute with Millwall leading 3-2 over Norwich, only to see his side inexplicably lose 4-3 in injury time. 

In the Premier League, Aaron Mooy played 90 minutes in Huddersfield's 1-1 draw with West Ham. Meanwhile, Mat Ryan conceded twice in Brighton's 2-1 loss to Cardiff City. 

In the FA Cup first round, Harry Kewell's Notts County lost 4-0 to League One side Barnsley.
Ryan McGowan played 90 minutes for Bradford City in their 1-1 draw with Aldershot Town. 

Cameron Burgess played 90 minutes in Scunthorpe United's 2-1 win over Burton Albion. Brad Inman recorded an assist in Rochdale's 2-1 win over Gateshead. 19-year-old Regan Ogle played 90 minutes for Southport in their 2-0 win over Boreham Wood. 

In Germany, Mathew Leckie was an unused substitute for Hertha Berlin as they lost 4-1 to Fortuna Dusseldorf in the Bundesliga. 

Trent Sainsbury and Aziz Behich also didn't get off the bench for PSV, as they cruised to a comfortable 4-1 win over De Graafschap in the Eredivisie. 

In Scotland, Ben Garuccio played 86 minutes for Hearts in their 1-0 loss to Kilmarnock, but Olivier Bozanic remained on the bench.  

Ryan Edwards and Jesse Curran played 90 minutes for St Mirren and Dundee respectively in a 1-1 draw in the Scottish Premiership. 

In Switzerland, Tomi Juric played 54 minutes before being subbed off in Luzern's 4-1 win over Lugano. 

In Israel, Nikita Rukavytsya scored in Maccabi Haifa's 2-1 win over Hapoel Hadera.
In Japan, Mitchell Duke came on in the 80th minute for Shimizu S-Pulse in a 2-0 win over Mitchell Langerak's Nagoya Grampus. Andrew Nabbout also saw a few minutes of game time for Uwara Red Diamonds in their 2-1 win over Consadole Sapporo. 

While on the coaching side, Ange Postecoglou's Yokohama F. Marinos recorded an important 1-0 away win over V-Varen Nagasaki to stay four points clear of the relegation zone with two matches remaining in the season. 

Dylan McGowan scored in Gangwon's 3-2 loss to Incheon United in the K-League.
