Aussie trick-shot teen becomes viral sensation

It's easy to see why country Aussie teenager Jed Hockin's football skills have taken the world by storm and made him a viral sensation.

Whether it is his silky freestyle skills, basketball hoop shots or breaking the world record for the longest bin shot with a 40 metre strike into his wheelie bin, there isn't much the 17-year-old from Toowoomba in Queensland can't do.

Hockin's trick-shot videos have been viewed in excess of 16 million time on YouTube in little more than two years and has won the university student high profile fans including Archie Thompson and Tim Cahill.
The viral star insists that every one of his elaborate football trick-shots are real and said he spends anywhere from 10 to 40 minutes on average to film each one.

Hockin said of all his trick-shots his favourite was a landing a shot over his family's two-story home and into a rubbish bin on the other side.

On Instagram, Hockin has more than 23,000 followers and has been in contact with Adidas and other brands about future opportunities.
