Luongo, who missed two weeks earlier this month with a knee injury, set up Luke Freeman to find the back of the net but it wasn't enough as QPR went down 2-1.

QPR coach Ian Holloway replaced Luongo in the 87th minute as his side pushed forward to snatch an equaliser.

It has been back to back strong performances from Luongo who is sure to be a player on the mind of new Australia coach Bert van Marwijk.
