Late Raso strike helps Brisbane roar against Reds

An 86th minute strike from Hayley Raso was the difference as Brisbane Roar claimed a 1-0 win against Adelaide United at Suncorp Stadium.

Raso fired home from just inside the edge of the penalty area with the ball taking a cruel deflection into the back of the net to secure Brisbane's third win of the season

It was a frustrating night for the home side's attack as they spurned chance after chance with the match seemingly headed for a draw before Raso found the back of the net.
The win moves Brisbane into top spot temporarily and was the perfect result for Roar veteran Tameka Butt who was playing in her 100th match.

Adelaide were unable to build on their dominant victory against Perth Glory which remains their sole win of the season.
