Kewell was under huge pressure in his first senior management job after losing the first three matches, however after last week's 3-0 win over Swindon Town and now a 2-0 win over Yeovil Town there is renewed hope that Kewell could be an astute appointment.
"Back to back league wins is massive for the club, the fans and the players," Kewell said.
"Since I've come in the players have worked really hard, so it's good to be seeing some results.
"I'm delighted - I thought we were excellent today.
"The boys stuck to the plan which we gave them and carried out perfectly."
"We musn't get too carried away, but there's great competition for places now," Kewell said.
"We've kept two clean sheets in a row now and that's very important."
Crawley are now up to 16th place, seven positions clear of relegation and 10 places away from the promotion play-offs.
