Huddersfield Town have confirmed first-team regulars Tommy Smith, Jonathan Hogg and Rajiv van La Parra have agreed to new contracts at the club, to continue playing alongside Socceroos midfielder Aaron Mooy.

The trio have signed three-year deals to commit their futures to Huddersfield ahead of the club's first Premier League season, with the Terries retaining an option to extend the contracts by a further season.

New deals for Smith, Hogg and Van La Parra come after fresh terms for Chris Lowe and Elias Kachunga were secured last week, while manager David Wagner has also agreed an extension.

Wagner extends Huddersfield Town contract
David Wagner has signed a new two-year deal at Huddersfield Town as the club prepare to play in the Premier League for the first time.

"The new contracts for Tommy, 'Hoggy' and Rajiv are very important pieces of business for this club," Wagner said.

"All three players were so important to the team last season - key to the success we enjoyed - and will continue to be big players for us this season.

Huddersfield, who won promotion via a play-off win against Reading on penalties, get their Premier League campaign under way at Crystal Palace on Sunday morning August 13 (AEST).
