According to Alex Dicken of The Birmingham Mail Jedinak "looked ragged and off the pace at times but maintained his positional discipline a little better than most of his team mates."
"We all know what a good player he is and that will be shown with time," Dicken wrote.
"Today was a baptism of fire and one that he couldn't quite live with.
"However, it won't be long before we see the best of him in claret and blue."
Fellow Aussie, 20 year-old Jordan Lyden was not included in the squad.
