It was a disastrous debut for the former Adelaide United winger after he was sent-off in the 44th minute, having joined Esbjerg this transfer window.

Mabil was sent off, somewhat harshly, for retaliating after he was pushed by AGF's Martin Spelmann - who received a yellow card for the incident.

It was a roller-coaster first match for the 20 year-old Aussie who was involved in the build-up for Esbjerg's first goal.

It was a decidedly better day for Amini who scored AGF's first goal with a bullet header to spark a comeback in the 33rd minute as his side came back from 2-0 down to rescue a point with a 2-2 draw.

Amini, who joined AGF in late June, has made a great start this season having scored two goals in the first four matches as well as picking up one assist.

AGF currently sits in sixth position on the table, while Esbjerg is one place off the bottom in 13th.
