Honduras is out of the tournament after it was hammered by a rampant Germany at Christchurch Stadium.
With three wins from as many starts, the European champion seemingly sealed a place for Senegal in the next phase as one of the best third-placed sides - at the expense of Honduras, which would need an almighty goal differential shift in the game between Hungary and Nigeria.
Germany got off to a flyer when it went ahead after just two minutes. Marc Stendera dispatched his spot kick after Carlos Moncada had brought down Levin Oztunali in the penalty box.
Honduras did equalise on 19 minutes with some good fortune. Bryan Rochez's header, rebounded off the post and into the next off the back of Germany goalkeeper Marvin Schwabe for an own goal.
However, the Germans restored the lead on the half hour mark though Julian Brandt before adding three more goals after the break.
Hany Mukhtar scored from a deflected free-kick on 50 minutes, Grischa Proemel found the bottom corner with a low shot on 62 minutes before Honduras's misery was completed in the 81st minute with Nicklas Stark rounding off the scoring.
After a goalless first half at Northland Events Centre in Whangarei, Uzbekistan netted three times to account for Fiji and seal its progress after a dominant display.
With a point enough to send the unfancied Oceania through, the pressure was on the Uzbeks and they delivered when it mattered in a one-sided affair.
Eldor Shomurodov opened the scoring on 62 minutes and just a minute later Zabikhillo Urinboev was on target to double the lead.
A goal three minutes into stopage time from Mirjamol Kosimov put the icing on the cake as Uzebistan's superiority was rewarded.
Brazil bossed its way to a third successive win but had to wait until the second half to see off Korea DPR in Christchurch.
The South American giant took the lead on the hour mark courtesy of a Min Hyo Song own goal.
Just six minutes later Jean Carlos doubled the advantage before Leo Pereira sealed the result with a goal on 86 minutes.
Goals either side of half-time from aiwo Awoniyi gave Nigeria the points against Hungary at New Plymouth's Taranaki Stadium.
Awoniyi netted on 33 and 54 minutes for the African side but Hungary may not be all that disappointed as it is through to the next phase to face Serbia.
