Winless Greek Super League club Aris Salonika has appointed Polish coach Michal Probierz.
Probierz has signed a contract until 30 June next year and replaces Sakis Tsiolis, who was fired on Monday after the team's 3-0 loss to AEK Athens the previous day.
The team did not release financial details of the deal but has left an option open for a renewal of Probierz's contract for another year.
Probierz, 39, has coached at LKS Lodz (2011), Jagiellonia Bialystok (2008-2011), Polonia Bytom (2007-2008 and 2005-2006) and Widzew Lodz (2006-2007), all in his homeland.
Aris has only collected four points in the six matches it has played so far this season in the domestic league.
