The fringe Socceroo midfielder travelled to the Korea Republic on Sunday for the final formalities before being officially unveiled by the club.
He’s expected to be formally announced as the sixth-placed K1 League club’s latest capture on Monday evening.
Antonis, 25, joins compatriot Adam Taggart at Suwon, with the latter the league’s leading scorer with 11 goals in 19 games.
Antonis has spent the last 18 months at Victory, having returned to the A-League from Eredivisie side VVV Venlo.
And if he can make a similar impact to that of fellow Socceroo Taggart he will be more than worth the investment Suwon have made in him.
Antonis left an indelible impression during his time at Victory, leading the club to the 2017-18 A-League championship with his extra-time winner in the semi-final against former club Sydney FC.
Victory, who will announce the return of Socceroos attacker Robbie Kruse imminently, have serious holes to fill in midfield after the retirement of Carl Valeri and exits of Keisuke Honda, Raul Baena and James Troisi.
