AaB's Tracy ruled out

Danish club AaB says American forward Marcus Tracy has been ruled out of the rest of the year with injuries to both knees.

Tracy has returned to the United States to undergo treatment for a condition called 'jumper's knee', AaB sporting director Lynge Jakobsen said.

Jakobsen says he expects Tracy to be back training with the team again in January.

He told the AP the injury 'could be tricky' but hoped Tracy could play when the Danish Super League resumes in March.

Tracy, 24, has played 21 games and scored two goals for AaB since joining the club in 2009. He has not played with AaB for almost a year, Jakobsen said.

The northern Denmark team is last in the 12-club Danish standings with nine points.
