AaB closes in on FC Midtjylland

AaB closed the deficit behind out-of-sorts Superliga leader FC Midtjylland to three points with a 2-0 home win over Sonderjyske.

Florian Hart's own goal handed the Aalborg club a 69th-minute lead before a Kasper Kusk penalty three minutes later confirmed the win.

AaB is now within touching distance of Midtjylland, which has failed to win in its past five league games.

FC Copenhagen saw its mini-revival slowed by a 1-1 draw at lowly Randers.

The champion, sitting in mid-table, had won its past two but had to rely on a Lars Jacobsen injury-time equaliser to grab a point. Nicolai Brock-Madsen had fired Randers ahead on 45 minutes.

Fourth-placed Odense was held to a goalless home draw by Brondby.
