Bundesliga club Hoffenheim has signed Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah from Italian side Parma.
Hoffenheim says the 21-year-old has signed a four-and-a-half year contract.
Acquah is the third addition to the squad in the January transfer period, after Luis Advincula and David Abraham.
Hoffenheim is 16th in the Bundesliga and seeking to avoid relegation.
Wellington Phoenix has announced its first off-season signing with Sunderland's reserve team captain Alejandro Gorrin agreeing to a two-year contract.
