Russian Premier League side CSKA Moscow has signed South Korean midfielder Kim In-sung from Gangneung City football club on a one-year deal, the club's press service reported on Wednesday.
CSKA nabbed the 22-year-old for free as his present club, which plays in the Korean second division, has only semi-professional status. Reports also said that Kim's contract offers an option of extending for two more years.
Kim has already joined CSKA at its training camp in Marbella, Spain, alongside previous signings Pontus Wernbloom of Sweden and Nigerian striker Ahmed Musa.
CSKA will take on Spanish giant Real Madrid in a two-leg showdown in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League in February and March.
