Valencia brings in Vila

1 August 2012-PA Sport

Spain Under-21 international Didac Vila will spend next season on loan at Valencia after it reached an agreement with AC Milan.

Vila spent last season on loan at Espanyol and was one of Los Pericos most consistent performers as he missed only one league game and scored two goals as Mauricio Pochettino's side finished 14th.

Los Che is reported to have paid a loan fee of around 700,000 euros ($820,404) for the left-back with the option to make the move permanent for a further 3.7 million euros ($4.34 million).

Vila becomes Valencia's fifth signing of the northern summer and will replace Jordi Alba who moved to Barcelona last month for 14 million euros ($16.41 million).
