Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo says he has 'almost' recovered from an ankle injury and may be available to play against Ajax in the UEFA Champions League next week.
The Portuguese winger took a knock to his right ankle in Real Madrid's 0-0 draw at Real Mallorca on 29 August, and was ruled out for about three weeks.
He missed Portugal's shock 4-4 draw with minnow Cyprus in a Euro 2012 qualifier and the team's 1-0 loss to Norway.
"I feel better and we'll see how it (the injury) develops," he told reporters in Madrid.
"I'm still not perfect but almost at 100 percent. I'll return as soon as possible, maybe in two days I can rejoin the squad."
He added that he believes he 'can be ready for the match against Ajax' on 15 September, Real's first Champions League group phase match.
